We had Famous Dave’s cater my daughter’s wedding in San Luis Obispo, CA, and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish!

The food was outstanding—everything was fresh, flavorful, and a huge hit with all of our guests. People are still talking about how good the BBQ was! You can really tell the care that goes into their catering, from the smoked meats to the delicious sides.

What truly made the experience special, though, was the service. The owner was so fun, personable, and easy to work with. They made the entire planning process enjoyable and stress-free, and brought such a great energy to the event itself.

If you’re looking for catering that delivers amazing food and a fun, memorable experience, I can’t recommend Famous Dave’s enough. They helped make my daughter’s wedding day perfect!

Never trust a BBQ place when you can't even smell the smoking ...I had a dinner of brisket that was so dry ( and flavorless ) I couldn't eat it and swallow without kind of gagging. The so called cornbread muffin was so sweet it should be considered cake..sickeningly sweet cake at that. I liked the coleslaw , it had a nice flavor , not soggy and a bit of crunch .My husband ordered onion ring strings and we both liked them..at least the broccoli was cooked perfect!..when the nice server came by she thought I was going to have take home because of all the meat that was left on the plate ( almost all of it )and when I said no thanks she asked why and I told her...next thing the manager was there saying he was really sorry and removed the charge from our bill...that was nice. We didn't ask for that because we were just going to write it off as a bad choice of restaurant. He asked if they could bring something else ..but by then I was done .I'm sorry, I hate to slam a place but my god it was terrible..a waste of time and money. The help was very nice and helpful but that's not enough to go back..like ever.

I previously lived in St. Paul, MN. FD was 5 minutes from my house, now that I live in Virginia Beach, I have to drive 167 to their Woodbridge, VA location, that says it all.

We love their "plater meals" to take out. We get them all the time, when we have guests over. Food is outstanding, and a really reasonable price.
