Far & Wild Travel Reviews

We had an amazing time.

One of our main requests were not met and we had to join in with a request we have not made BUT we made sure that we do not get disappointed as a result.

Our holiday was beyond our expectations. All the accommodations recommended by Far & Wild were amazing. The travel pack sent to us prior to departure contained very useful information including driving directions between our accommodations which were accurate and extremely helpful. Would not hesitate in recommending Far & Wild to others.

The team delivered another brilliant trip. I asked for a holiday in a region they don’t usually specialise in (dats in advance) and they sorted it out really quickly. Travelling with two tiny little ones means we can’t be as ‘pick up and go’ in our travels as we used to be but they made sure all of the things we needed (car seats, bed bumpers, etc) were sorted out that the logistics generally was stress-free. The best bit though is the suggestions for places to go and super personable service. Just lovely people to deal with.

Even though we were only going on a 3 day safari, everyone at Far and Wild was so unbelievably helpful in choosing where to stay..which can be daunting given the massive choice on offer. Once we had decided where to go the organisation of the trip was perfect and I felt that we were in safe hands all the way. The transfers and travel required to get us from Zambia to Botswana all went without a hitch and is definitely not something we could have done alone. All round a brilliant experience and I would thoroughly recommend Far & Wild to anyone.

Far and Wild travel organised our wedding (legal ceremony) and honeymoon in south africa.

The wedding held during our 5 night stay in Garonga Safari camp along with the honeymoon (traveling to capetown and then staying at 3 locations on the garden route) was more than we could have wished for.

Ben and all the team at Far and Wild travel help to make organising such a trip feel easy and their knowledge of the accomodations and locations is excellent. They also answered any queries we had along the way in a timely and helpful manner.

The service from Far and Wild as well as the accomodations we stayed in was 5 star and the price was also very reasonable ( I know this as I did price up to book the whole holiday myself ). Little touches such as the pack that arrives before your travels with all contact details, routes for travelling by car from one location to the next were excellent and very helpful

We wish Ben and all the team the very best with the future and we will certainly be looking to book up through far and wild travel again in the future

I highly recommend to anyone for sevice and price

Fantastic holiday, great choice of hotels, places to visit. Good communication and support throughout.

Very, very good knowledge and a great service.

Excellent trip and excellent service by Far & Wild!

Far and Wild organised an amazing safari in Kenya and time in Stone town and a Beach resort in Tanzania.
Everything worked like clockwork everybody was on time. The itinerary catered for us a couple in the seventies.
The attention to detail and knowledge about Africa was excellent
Have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.
We were so happy their India specialist is looking at a trip to India for us.
Bonus was a similar holiday with another operator was £2,500 more
Thank you Far and Wild

Excellent service from start to finish- the team listened to what we wanted and worked with us to arrange our perfect trip. They are always willing to help and answered all our questions . I would not hesitate to use again and would highly recommend

It was the best trip of my life!
Thanks to all the team to help me to organize the best honey moon ever!

Ben & his team pulled together a fantastic first Safari experience for our family. They listened to our aspirations, made suggestions, gave options and delivered on an awesome unforgettable experience.
Their local knowledge along with their desire to give you the best holiday possible is second to none. Thank you 😊

We spoke with Nathan for our India trip which was very last minute - he was so friendly, patient, polite and understanding! He got us an itinerary within an hour and took everything we wanted into consideration.
Wonderful service - thank you!

We had our first holiday with Far&Wild this November 2018 to Selous National Park in Tanzania. We stayed at the Lake Manze Camp. We explained to Far & Wild that there were 7 of us and that we would be starting our holiday in Zanzibar. The company arranged everything from transfer from our hotel to all the internal flights and our wonderful stay at Lake Manze Camp. We are looking at going to India next and our first place to look will be with Far &Wild. Their service from start to finish was first class.

Everybody likes to say nice things, but these guys really were the real deal
Rebecca is, by title, and African Specialist - and she was just that!

She planned our trip based on our requirements BUT exceeded them in every way

Following that the "after sales" by Ben and Coralie was brill

Highly recommended AND if you ever want to go on Safari book Zambia with these peeps

Highly recommend if you are looking for a bespoke designed holiday experience.

From start to finish Far and Wild provided a very personal service, tailoring each aspect of our Africa trip to our 'very fussy' requirements.

Our main contact was Rachael, who knew the areas we wanted to travel ( Nairobi, Masai Mara and ' A beach ending',) and she worked through many options keeping to our budget and giving many many suggestions given the time of year and the hotel choices , whilst also suggesting further options if we wanted to go wild(er) with our trip .

Whilst away on the holiday the team were just a phonecall away if we needed to change plans, which at one point we needed to and Ben and Coraline were absolute stars in this respect, and put in some changes without hesitation.

we are already planning our next adventure ( India) and will certainly be looking to Far and Wild again .

We had a great safari experience. Far & Wild handled the complex transfers without any glitch at all. Slight problem with the accommodation at the Lodge but this was sorted as best as anyone was able to in the situation. Chobe was amazing

Fabulous service , friendly and extremely knowledgable staff. Would definately recommend far and wild and would book with them again. X

We had excellent service, nothing was too much trouble. More importantly we had the benefit of their expertise. They recommended accommodation, which we were thrilled with. We look forward to booking our our next African adventure! No need to use another travel agency when can use Far and Wild!
