We honestly can’t recommend our mortgage broker, Stephen, highly enough. While our case itself wasn’t particularly difficult, the lender requested a lot of documents throughout the process, and Stephen always uploaded everything straight away without delay. He kept us fully updated at every stage, explained everything clearly, and was incredibly easy to get in contact with whenever we needed him. His professionalism, efficiency and constant reassurance made the whole process so much smoother. On top of that, he’s a genuinely lovely person to deal with. We’re very grateful for all his hard work and would happily recommend him to anyone.

We went through Emily at Fitch and Fitch and we were honestly blown away. We weren't sure if we wanted to use a broker due to the expense but now we most definitely always will!
Emily was with us every step of the way with excellent communication and always so easy to get hold of. She made sure we were confident in everything we were doing and really took the time to break down all the technical jargon especially as were are first time buyers. She was never too pushy and explained all the different products and we believe she really did what was best for us. Having a point of contact was so important for us, especially as we were buying through auction so were under pressure and specific time frames. She made sure these were all met and chased up so many things for us, making sure everything was in hand. We had sourced a couple of AIP's from other banks and didn't have any point of contact and was all very impersonable. Fitch and Fitch was the complete opposite and it really put our mind at ease considering our situation. Emily of course got us a way better rate than any we had found. Interest rates dropped during our process and she even checked if she could get us any better rates - all done over Christmas when most other people were off work or hard to get hold of! We never would've managed our completion without Emily and will definitely be back once our fixed term is up as we now see the value. Thanks Emily!

Ben Hart helped me secure the mortgage for my first house, walking me through the different options in terms of term lengths and initial deposits, and how these affect the payment amounts. He also helped sort out an income protection plan.
