Brady was brilliant. He explained a great alternative to fixing my problem, but gave me choices. A nicer guy, you couldn't come across. Nothing was too much trouble and even masked for me, when he had to enter the house, due to a chronic health issue I have. I would highly, highly recommend using Brady, as your plumber.

Had a sewerage issue with a household packed full of my family, grandkids et al ie toilets important 😉
Got Jared to come sort the problem, took me through the steps and explained it all including costs.

Conrad did a great job at replacing the toilet unit and cistern which have been causing problems for a long time. Since it's all in-built, it's a challenging task that needed to be done by cutting a hole into the back wall. The job is all completed now, and the unit works great.

Thane was fantastic at diagnosing the blockage and where exactly it was occurring. It has occurred from a collapsed pipe near the back deck. He then set out my options available to me with fixed costs advised upfront which gave me comfort there wouldn’t be any surprises. Once I had dugout the area where the blockage was, Thane promptly arrange a time to then fix the area with skill and expertise to ensure the finished job would not collapse again.

Thane was very efficient and sorted out all our issues with our taps, in house pipes and shower hose. He also worked with our water meter and hot water service making them more user friendly and longer lasting. Very friendly and easy to talk to and ask questions about the work being done. Great to know we have found a plumber who is very reliable

I had a new hot water unit installed along with new pipe lines. Traci was on time, communicative and efficient. We did encounter issues along the way but I was always kept informed and she worked hard to resolve them in a timely manner. I wouldn’t hesitate to use FIR again.

Engaged FIR to address water hammer associated with my heat pump hws. Although the plumber wasn’t experienced with this type of system he quoted to replace an inlet valve. I felt the cost was quite for what was done. And it didn’t rectify the issue. Because the issue wasn’t fixed I delayed paying the invoice. I eventually paid based on the understanding that some additional steps could be undertaken. But I was quoted what I thought was an exorbitant fee for this extra work which I declined to go ahead with because they didn’t think it would even solve the issue. They charge top dollar. Happy to pay this for a result. But if you can’t ’fix it right’ perhaps you shouldn’t charge the client the full price.

Really disappointing and expensive.
For simple jobs they charge you a lot.

For the work on my property, I was shown a cost estimate on an ipad, which when accepted was sent to me as an email, with a link from a “servicetitan” portal. No business name, nor ABN shown on the documentation.

The customer payment scheme required by FIT involves an up-front payment of approximately 50% of the cost agreed work estimate/quotation. Business bank details were hand written on a piece of paper. Insistence on a cell phone photograph of the EFT transfer on my computer. No business invoice received.

This methodology is highlighted by Consumer Affairs and the ACCC as one indicator of a scam.

Final payment was requested at the time of completion of the work using the same payment arrangement. I refused this, insisting on provision of an emailed company Invoice. This was quickly sent, and did show the earlier payment, with the balance, which I then paid by EFT. Once again, a photograph of the on-screen EFT was requested. Refused as transaction had already been completed.

NOTE: - The Invoice includes:
1) a ‘Customer Authorisation’ - signature copied/pasted from the job estimate
2) a ‘Customer Acknowledgement Clause’ (ticked by the provider). I had not been advised of this earlier. The text indicates the need for a signature.
Receipt of the Invoice was the first time any knowledge of conditions of sale were provided.

Complete scam pricing. Simple job to fix a toilet seal. Usually costs around $200. Quoted $600 just to take the toilet off. Also kept trying to find other work so they could scam me further.
Would never hire. You will be paying at least 3 times more then it is worth.

Jason has been taking care of our plumbing needs for seven years now. My husband & I are retired & not able to tackle things as we used to. We have moved into a rental condo with private landlords. We referred Fix It Right to our landlords who live out of province, for a need & they came right away fixed it…no worries. Thank you to your gang for taking care of us. Lin Eklund.

Keep away from this organisation to retain your sanity. Last week booked urgent leaking issue where inlet connects to washing machine hose. Appointment scheduled. Waited. They re-scheduled. Waited. They re-scheduled again. Waited. They tried to re-schedule. I went elsewhere and the new plumber was on site within an hour. Save your sanity - keep away from Fix It Wrong Plumbing.

I commend Thane for his superlative customer service and consummate professionalism.
Why?
He listened to me, delivered and installed the tapware as we'd discussed, and consulted me throughout the two (2) days he worked here.
Everything works; no need to battle my tapware into submission. Leaks? What leaks? There are none. And as for my new baby Clydesdale shower rose, oh, what a delight it is...
