I had a fantastic experience viewing the property today. Lucas was friendly, professional, and really informative. He made the viewing feel relaxed while clearly explaining all the key details. I really appreciated his patience and warm attitude, and he made the whole process easy and pleasant.

am sharing my experience as a tenant renting through FleetMilne in Birmingham.

When keys were handed over, the flat was clearly not inspected or cleaned to an acceptable standard. The property was left in an unclean condition, containing items left behind by previous occupants and visible mould inside the fridge.

While FleetMilne did arrange for cleaners after formal complaints were raised, the issue was never fully resolved. Deep-seated mould in the bathroom remained unaddressed, with third-party contractors unable to properly eradicate it.

Having to repeatedly escalate basic hygiene and habitability issues through formal complaint procedures right from day one made the onboarding process unnecessarily stressful. A letting agent should ensure properties are thoroughly checked and properly cleaned before new tenants move in. Based on this standard of property handover and management, I cannot recommend them.

This is the first time to treat with fleetmilne , actually it’s the first time to be in Birmingham in general .. people in the office are very friendly and helpful the procedure are not complicated and very simple

The least professional letting agency I have ever dealt with.

From the start of my tenancy, I experienced numerous issues, including several serious concerns.
Unfortunately, these were not handled appropriately and were often met with excuses rather than effective solutions.

Communication throughout my tenancy was poor, and I frequently felt that my concerns were not taken seriously.

On the final day of my tenancy, I received an email at 10:00 a.m. stating that if I did not return the apartment keys by midday, the key holder would be broken. I found this approach unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional.

Overall, my experience with this agency was extremely disappointing. I found their service to be rude, unhelpful, and lacking professionalism.

I would not recommend using this letting agency, EVER.

They knowingly rented out a flat with No hot water, is was all down hill after that.
They took no responsibility for this and continued to do so even after proof of their lies were shown to them.

If your property manager is Kirsty or Stacey run a mile

To anyone thinking of renting a property from flletmilne, I will advise you they will seem incredibly friendly and polite until you are then renting it’s then all about gaining as much money as possibly and keeping the landlords happy. Absolutely not care for the renters

For the love of god avoid at all costs, they care about landlords not you. the properties are unliveable for any working professional. I have lived in mine for 4 months in that time I have had items stolen, been lied to by the landlord and agency about plumbing issues, Human wee and faeces in the building and now live in a building site.
Honestly just do yourself a favour and pay an extra £100 or so somewhere else and not have to deal with these clowns.

Stacey Rowe was a great property manager during my tenancy in Caspar House. She always responded promptly and resolved any issues I was having!!

it was good dealing with Fleetmilne colleagues through from initial house viewing to sales progression and final property handover. Appreciated their patience, flexibility and responsiveness. Unlike quite a few other estate agents - when you call, you will always find people who can actually help - always.

We engaged the services if Fleetmilne, because of their reputation, and very happy we did. Alex who is very friendly and professional market our property beautifully including an early "coming soon" release on socials. Lucas sold it in approximately 6 weeks. Smooth process throughout and already recommended to friends selling theirs.

Matt made our experience great, truly very good at what he does and is always a pleasure to deal with :)

I viewed apartments in the city with Joy and Matt on separate occasions, both of them were very friendly and helpful, showing me around the properties and telling me about the amenities, pros/cons and anything else I needed. They make themselves very available and are a pleasure to deal with, I’d definitely recommend going to them!

The viewing was good. We booked viewing for one room but Matt showed us around 3 rooms which was very beneficial for us. He was helpful with every other information we needed.
