COMPLETE FAMILIARITY OF REP! Often with a customer service line, the Rep s are not as familiar with the system as they should be--but at Frontpoint this has never been the case.

Had the service with 3 year contract that I fulfilled even though they wouldn't let me cancel. Contract expired but we didn't renew. Charged my account again, tried to call and cancel but you have to jump through hoops to get that far even. Then they want to force you to pay another month's worth of service just to cancel. Had multiple times alarm went off but never received a check in call from them so haven't even used the service for last two years I've been paying.

My alarm hasn’t worked in 5 months.
Do to them not. Had to deal the them for hrs. My IT guy still couldn’t get it to work. They wanted my to buy 2 new garage sensors. I asked them to have a manager to call me. Never happened.
I spent $1,200!for my IT guy to come out for 6 hours. On the phone. They don’t care don’t waste your money. I go to cancel with one month on my contract. They hit me with $44.00
And my alarm still not working. Stay away.

Knowledgeable and experienced. No wait time on the phone call. Helped me set up new equipment without any difficulty.
Also, I just read a bunch of fairy recent negative reviews. All I can say is that my experiences have been great. I have been a customer for over ten years and own most of the equipment they sell, including cameras. Everything has always worked great and customer service has been good. They have grown a lot and things aren’t as personal as in the old days, but everything is still good.

Update: I sent an email to WeCare@Frontpoint .com, which bounced back as address not found. I did find WeCare@Frontpointsecurity .com and sent them an email, waiting on response.
I have had Frontpoint Security for years and until recently we loved it. Unfortunately, the as other have said, the system isn't working when needed. If you call, they will belittle you and state it is not their responsibility or fault if it is not working. In fact, they "own the products and it works great for them". I have made multiple attempts to cancel, but they will make you pay an insane amount of money to cancel and there is absolutely no discussion. I would advise not getting into business with them, because their customer service is not great, their techs never knew how to help and will transfer you around, and if their products don't work (front door camera took 13 minutes to load live video) it isn't their issue.

Do not believe the reviews. The company uses several deceptive tactics. First they make it extremely difficult to cancel even after your service has ended. You can only call to do say and when you do they try several times to keep you as a customer with deals etc. Then when you get your cancellation link it is more of the same. They simply will not let you cancel easily. Lastly, they charge you for one-month additional once you cancel because they say it takes a month to cancel. I would not recommend them as I am sure by now there are plenty none subscription based services that are just as affordable.

I have had my Front Point Alarm system for seven years. It saved me on one break in where they did get into the house and I was able to run them off. I wasn’t there at the time, but I got there in time. Extremely dependable technical help is unbelievable.
