I've had my first 3 fuel hub boxes now and the quality of produce and flavour in the meals is really next level. I'm particularly pleased with the protein portion size and the quality of meat that they use consistently.
I'm not an athlete or anything, but I do need a high protein diet to help with my PCOS, PMDD and Endometriosis condition where hormonal balance can really impact my quality of life. I'm also a deputy headteacher so need the convenience of meals that are quick to make as I'm often home very late (3 and a half minutes in the microwave).
After trying 3 other similar providers with similar price points (Simmer, Frive, and Hello Fresh) and being disappointed in their quality, delivery systems and flavour, I'm so glad I tried Fuel Hub out!

So far so good (later edited due to excessive salt)
I've tried two other seed-oil-free providers, and both fell short of expectations (one because they allowed seed oils to creep into one of their meals, the other because their meals were too salty). So far, FuelHub is shaping up to be the one I'll stick with. Also very responsive and helpful customer service.
Update, same day: just had FuelHub's Thai King Prawns for lunch. Too salty. Checked the ingredients list - the meal contains 4.6g of salt per serving! FuelHub - do you not realise that this represents 92% of the World Health Organisation's maximum recommended daily salt intake for healthy adults?!
I've reduced my Trust Pilot rating to 3 stars. Come on FuelHub, you're supposed to be producing healthy meals.

The only meal prep I actually enjoy
I've used Fuelhub for around 3 months now and this was my third attempt on finding a meal prep company that I actually like (tried frive and allweek before but disliked their taste and portion and ended up stopping after just a few weeks). In general, I like the taste of Fuelhub - good portion, consistent quality, arrives decently packaged with ice packs and tastes pretty good.
I also had an experience with their customer support and they were very prompt at sorting out my issue.
Few things I'd love to see / can improve in the future:
- menu only changes once a month and most stays the same anyways. It'll be good to have a little more variety, especially when most menu currently is chicken breast and potato based. Unfortunately I like neither much, so usually end up with very small menu choice
- there isn't really a good way to send requests for what menu you'd like back. There are thumbs up/down but there's no way to tell if they use this at all. E.g. I really liked "Jerk Prawns with Wholegrain Rice, Minted Peas & Black beans and a Lime & Coconut Dressing" dish but that was gone after a month and would love it if they introduced a way to hear more direct feedback and preference from users.

Meal prep -5 star
I’ve tried quite a few different meal prep companies now, but Fuel Hub are miles better than the others. The meals actually taste fresh, the portions are decent and there’s plenty of variety, so you don’t feel like you’re eating the same thing every day. Really convenient as well when you’re busy but still want to eat properly. Definitely sticking with Fuel Hub from now on!

The meals are good and taste fine my only issue with it is the banana bread when I first order it and for the first 3 months the banana bread was a good size now it’s been half but still costs the same. Other than that I will stay with fuel hub as other brands are not as good

Glad I switched to fuel hub
I switched to Fuel Hub after getting a bit fed up with Prep Kitchen, mainly because the meals just weren’t doing it for me. A lot of the meals felt like they had been padded out with loads of sloppy vegetables or random ingredients that didn’t really match what the meal was supposed to be. You’d order something like a chorizo lasagne and it would end up feeling more like a mixture of things rather than an actual chorizo lasagne.
Fuel Hub feels completely different. The meals are much more straightforward and actually feel like what they say they are — proper whole cuts of meat, burgers, pasta dishes etc., without adding loads of unnecessary stuff just for the sake of it.
For me, Fuel Hub seems to focus on simplicity and taste, while keeping the meals true to what they’re actually meant to be. Sometimes less really is more, and I think that’s what makes the meals so much better.
I do however wish they had an app

I used Fuel hub due to being unwell and unable to cook for myself, I needed lots of protein and that’s what I got, tasty meals with lots of health benefits. Not everything that was ordered arrived.
They knew this (as it was on the dispatch email) but didn’t give me a refund or tell me until I double checked and reached out,
Refund was quick but I should not have to chase this to happen. If you don’t send it, refund people straight away.
Edit - the team got back in touch with me which I appreciate. They went out of their way to rectify the situation. I am not giving 5 stars as it took this to get to this point but I do want to rate the team for the way they have going around sorting the issue, keeping in touch with me etc.
