Absolutely shambles
Absolutely shambles, after 3 weeks of waiting for my delivery today i phoned and they said theyre still waiting for product to arrive from the warehouse to the store. Then they would be able to deliver my parcel to me. This is ridiculous, I've been been waiting ages now since they declared they would deliver my package next week which means 4 weeks waiting for my rods and I feel as though I'm not been treated properly and feel very let down.

Great Service and Products
Ordered a compact Ian Goulds Bigaloo shelter, arrived within three days, well protected within a solid cardboard tube.
Very easy to put up and marginally lighter than the IMAX Storm Safe. This is a fantastic shelter and will be much used.
I also have a full size Bigaloo but this one is much lighter and has a very handy wrap around sleeve and shoulder carrying strap.
The price paid was the best I could find on the Web. Once again a fantastic service from Gerrys - Cheers all at Gerrys.

Placed order for a century travel rod…
Placed order for a century travel rod holdall and x2 m4 tip lights and it was all in stock so i received a email saying that my order was received and they will send a email to confirm postage so 3 days went by no email so rang them to find out they said the holdall was sent yesterday but still no email and holdall came on day 4 but still no tip lights so I emailed them about my tip lights and was told they was being despatched today which is day 5 of my order date and them they arrived 3 days later so if u need something in a rush don't order from gerrys and don't expect a email of despatch very poor communication and I received no apologies

When you get it right you are…
When you get it right you are brilliant. When you get it wrong, your customer service falls well short of what I would expect of a company with your reputation. Try keeping the customer informed rather than fobbing them off. The customer should not have to keep chasing for information on the delivery of an order that you got wrong in the first place. I have now waited a month for an item I was told would be delivered in four to eight days. I was promised it should be here by the end of this week and I'm still waiting.

You shouldn't have had to chase us, and a four to eight day estimate that stretches to a month isn't the standard we aim for. Some items are held in our secondary warehouse rather than in the shop, so timings can move, but you should hear that from us before you have to ask. Very disappointed
My experience ordering sea fishing gear from Gerrys for the first time has been genuinely awful, starting when I spent just over £100 on September 26th and received an order confirmation email, only for a parcel to arrive a week later with just half my items and completely missing any dispatch email or a heads-up email saying the rest would follow, even after thoroughly checking my spam folder. When I tried to call to find out what was going on, the recorded messaging service informed me that I couldn't speak to someone from the store because they couldn't help with online orders, meaning I had to wait 45 minutes just to speak to someone in the ordering department, where a polite chap explained they were waiting on the rig making kit to arrive from their warehouse—which didn't make sense since it said it was in stock online, and when I asked why I hadn't received any communication, he simply blamed an automated system that clearly wasn't working. After patiently waiting another week for the rest of my order to finally arrive today with a dispatch email, instead of the beginner rig-making tackle box set that I've seen sold properly in a neat tackle box by other retailers, and which I paid £40 for on sale from £50 (currently listed on their site at £50 down from £60), they had clearly just run out and decided to grab a small handful of individual items off their shelves and throw them into the cardboard box. Each of those individual packets had a physical price tag attached to it, and when I added them up, the actual value came to just £31.96. To top it all off, I emailed them over a week ago and haven't had any response, and I refuse to call them again because I don't have the patience to wait another 45 minutes, so I really hope Gerrys does the right thing and rectifies this, otherwise I'll pursue Trading Standards.
