i've dedicated a pc to grass
i have 7 pc's at home, for practical reasons i've dedicated a pc to grass, yesterday, power cut (when it's a network disconnection) and often absent, when it crashes, you have to retype the password which is an email you receive (my emails i don't check on smartphone not security) so impossible for the pc to reconnect by itself (it's without screen nor keyboard/mouse) with a stadard password it could, not to mention the damn captchas (I don't work for free for google, I already hate gafam and then he talks about net freedom), it's like anti-capitalist activists, they break windows but drink coke, fed up with my PC running for nothing when I don't realize it, I stop, I'm doing a service and what's more grass is demanding, my gigabit fiber and my e will serve someone else, bye bye grass.

Hey Matt! I really do appreciate the feedback and I'd love to figure out how we can get you up and running without any issues. I would be curious to get more details about your setup and see if theres anything thats not adding up. For the best experience you'll want to use a supported desktop device running Windows, MacOS or Linux (mobile app coming soon!) and a residential connection (cant be proxy, datacenter or VPN). As long as you're doing that you should be good. The best way to troubleshoot general issues like you're describing would be either joining the Grass discord and/or getting support from our Grass support team on the website! One more thing, Grass is actually not demanding at all. It uses about 1% of compute and on my MacBook the Grass app uses about 20-30mb of ram. I forget it's even running most of the time! Anyway, don't hesitate to reach out so we can get things sorted!

Phishing scam
I use this since 2 years and I've earned thousands of points worth a few dollars. If you want to earn $100 you need to do this for decades. The funny part, in their policies you need to agree that they can use ALL of your data as they wish. Everything. And they give you nothing for it. The even funnier part, since 2 years I was not able to claim my tokens at all. I tried 8 different wallets (solflare, trustwallet, phantom, unsiwap, bybit, bitpanda, binance, metamask) and not one of them is eligible 😂. This whole thing is just a scam to get all of your data! A phishing scam... You need to delete this whole thing and use new browsers or new accounts in your browser or they are goint to continue their theft even after deinstalling this *****!

Hey David, I appreciate you being an early participant in this journey with Grass and I want to clarify a few things that you mentioned:
1. Grass uses your IP address to route public web data (and thats it), so it has nothing to do with your personal data whatsoever. It's not about your data, it's about renting out a sliver of your unused bandwidth and getting compensated for doing so.
2. It sounds like you earned Grass points during stage 1 and had some trouble with your wallet. The requirements to be eligible for those rewards would have been earning 500 points in any of the epochs and having a wallet verified before the October 14th deadline. The wallet address you verified on your Grass account had to match the wallet you were using to claim if you were eligible (so its the wallet address that matters, not whatever wallet provider you happen to use).
Im sorry your experience hasn't been great and I hope we can repair the relationship and take back control of the internet (and get compensated for doing so!). Im going to leave a few resources here for you to check out that I think will really shift your perspective and perhaps provide some additional clarity :)

How is it I have been involved with this project this long, kept updated on software etc, but when Airdrop 1 comes I cant claim it for some BS reason then wtf I been doing here for? Nobody should be able to get this software that cannot claim the rewards for RUNNIONG THE SOFTWARE! I have some real choice words for this program and any like it!!! I can claim any other airdrop from any other project I been involved with! Its BS Period! I wouldnt partake in this project if I were you, Youre just putting youre effort and energy in someone elses pocket!!!

If you have desktop app and extensions on the same device it can cause connection issues like you are describing. Would love to get you up and running or provide further support if needed. Scam or lacking basic competence? Just does not work.…
Been using this site for approx 3 months.
No ability to complete registration process for rewards (simply does not send me an email to close confirmation loop).
No support process.
I cannot say its a scam - its not illegal to lack competence. This is not yet fully baked and the experience is very poor.
Better to try something like Honeygain if this is your thing.

I don't understand where their positive reviews are coming from, but all I am very sure about this company is that they are liars and pretenders. I have lost my funds, and their support didn't do anything to it. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I recommend PAIVA. They do pay.

I assume you practice good wallet security so as long as it's not compromised, theres one of two ways we can look into this further for you. Either get support on Grass dashboard (green bubble bottom right) or get connected with Grass community in discord and chat with us there!

Hey Novica! Sorry you're having trouble claiming, I might be able to provide some insight here. When it comes to claiming those stage 1 rewards, you'll need to head to the Grass foundation site:
https://www.grassfoundation.io and connect your wallet. As long as you have access to the wallet and it's the same one verified on the account, there shouldn't be any issues! If there are...you can try: clearing cache/cookies, trying different browser, trying the mobile version of the wallet provider. (Just to let ya know, Grass distributed 100m tokens to about 2m users for the first airdrop!)
If none of those things work Id recommend reaching out to support at getgrass.io and clicking on the green bubble on the bottom right and/or getting connected to the Grass discord community for further discussion!

Unresponsive site
Participated in Epoch 2 and 3. Gained some points after many many tries with the browser on my Laptop. They said to claim I need to connect wallet. Yes, I connected Phantom wallet and verified too. When claiming, they again ask to connect. When I click on Phantom icon from their site nothing worked. No help. Stupid bot. What is your motto? Why we should waste our time and energy, in addition to the bandwidth? Sorry for myself.

Apologies you're having trouble getting your wallet situated on the website. 2 things, Id recommend download the desktop app instead of using the extension (2x points and extension will be getting depreciated as stage 2 rolls along) and I would recommend joining the Grass discord to get some more support about the wallet connection issue you're having. Sometimes clearing cache/cookies, trying in incognito mode or a different browser/wallet can solve the issue. I would definitely recommend joining the Grass discord! i cant get ahold of anyone at support, the deadline is coming for claiming my reward / airdrop but i accidentally put the developer solana address.i need to change it to the right address so i can get my reward and itr shoukldnt be this difficult to sort this out.. if i cant get it sorted i will have lost all progreess and reward i had been earning for months because theres no way for me to change to correct wallet address.

The great thing is you don't have to be well versed in AI or the technology to benefit. Participating is really easy and it really only takes 3 clicks and you're all set. Grass has been up to some pretty incredible things lately, in fact stage 1 recently concluded on October 28th and 100,000,000 tokens were distributed to about 2 million users! answer to the response I got: so I have have been running the node for 2 months now, and you tell me i have to wait not a specific number of epochs, no I have to wait many epochs which is not disclosed in the FAQ how many it exactly is... thanks for helping me with my confusion.

Rewards are distributed at the end of the stage, and the stage consists of many epochs. Once the epoch ends those points are then stored in the rewards tab, so don't worry they're safe.

first point there is no support and the support it presents is limited to a bot. second point all coins disappear and no transactions appear for any wallet.

I've been a user since stage 1 and stopped using it for a while. When I return I see that the tokens earned in stage 1 have disappeared.
As you indicate, stage 2 consists of several epochs and I am rewarded at the end because stage 3 has begun.
So where are the stage 2 rewards that you indicate are distributed when it ends since stage 2 ended on the 16th and on the 17th stage 3 began
to respond to your arguments.
stories and fairy tales that I'm already used to.
Let me know when they are actually a paying site such as honeygain, iproyalpaws or bytelixir among others

I'd say the best place to get support is the Grass discord. Really great community that can offer so much knowledge and guidance. If you need more specific support you can always head to the dashboard and click on the green bubble to get support. If the chat agent can't solve your issue you will be directed to a live agent for further troubleshooting!
Also wanted to clarify a few things regarding rewards! If you met the eligibility requirements in stage 1 (500pts in any epoch and verified wallet by Oct 14th) you can claim those rewards here ---> grassfoundation.io until January 15th, 2025. It sounds like you've been earning a little bit since stage 2 has started. You're earning points every epoch (on epoch 3 now) and points are then stored in the rewards tab. Stage 2 consists of many epochs and after the stage is over you'll get rewarded!
I hope that provided a little more clarity Jose. If you want to get connected I would recommend visiting getgrass.io and scrolling to the bottom to visit the official X page or Grass discord!

Great question. Points themselves can't be sold as they do not have any value. If you happen to earn rewards at the end of stage 2 you can certainly do as you wish with them! Epoch 2 has come to an end with your points being saved in the rewards tab and epoch 3 has started so you have more time to earn!

Totally agree with you! Not only is Grass rewarding users for their unused internet bandwidth, we're also (you) taking back control of the internet! We're currently on a mission to create an entire knowledge graph of the web which will be the backbone of LCR (live context retrieval). This will allow an LLM or any model and you need data in real time, plug it into Grass, and…it’ll have online capabilities. Where it gets even better is all this data is verified on the blockchain, so none of it can be tampered with or poisoned. This is truly a step into the future of AI and I'm super excited you're here for the ride!
