1900 that I bought from an old house in Gibraltar.Two have been liberally covered in shellac which I will get to removing soon and give a nice wax,the other two had extensive historic and current woodworm that have been treated and have just had the holes filled with a mixture of antique gold and rose gold wax and then a light wax and buff with pure gold.They look amazing!.

This is a really lovely traditional wax wood polish. I bought this to protect and improve an old wooden chair I inherited from my father and it's done a lovely job.

What a fantastic product, our kitchen floor looks like new. The hard wax oil is easy to apply and quick drying, also it goes a long way. I certainly will use your products again. Excellent product, used up previous tin so replenishing my stock. I have tried many polishes and although this is the most expensive it is by far the best and lasts for a very long time. Only small disappointment is that the previous litre tins used to be delivered with wire wool, depends, cloth and a square of hard wax which I found very useful and by far the best you can get.

So easy to apply and polish off. Only needs minimal application to be effective. 100% natural ingredients mean I can use it on valuable pieces with complete confidence. Thank you Gilboy’s, you are my go to retailer for beeswax polish (not to mention the delicious organic honey!).

Easy to apply, looks good and is durable
I first used it on a kitchen floor to replace some weird gunk put down before that had worn away in heavy traffic areas. After sanding down to bare wood, I applied the hard wax oil, which is very easy to apply, just rub it in. Over two years later the hard wax oil finish still looks good. I'm about to do another floor and expect it will come out well.

I absolutely love my 'Pure Gold' polishing kit. It's apparent that alot of care and experience went into the whole process from conception to packaging. I have just finished stripping and renovating my front door and the finish is amazing! The wood grain is so smooth and almost 3 dimensional in appearance. The condition of the mahogany has vastly improved from its previously dry state to an enriched and tighter looking density. Just wish I could post before and after photos!

Having bounced around the internet for help with my restoration project, I found your videos and you're down to earth, straight forward tips on how to restore for the best results. Not only that, but you help to provide the very things needed to do it! Everything offered is environmentally friendly and packaged. It's certainly hard work getting the old finishes off, but with your guidance, I'm absolutely loving this project, and know that my old mid-century item is loving the products I'm using. Having experienced the joy of using Gilboy's hard wax oil, I pushed the boat out and purchased their beeswax polish. It was expensive to purchase from Ireland but, as my father used to say: "the good article is only dear when you are paying for it". He never spoke truer words.
I applied multiple coats to American Black Walnut veneer that adorned a Singer table. I buffed it with a woollen pad on a drill. The result was nothing short of magnificent. The multiple layers gave a shellac-like depth and yielded an irridescence that I never knew existed.
Gilboys do business like business should be done.

Antique coffee table was refurbished by removing varnish type finish by sanding back, with Gilboys hard wax oil and clear beeswax and found the top was beautiful mahogany.
The best finishing products I’ve used and a reasonable price.
Highly recommended.
