We registered as Gold Supplier Paid for 2 years fees and their website has no reach no traffic to get for the supplier, Pathetic Platform and their team will also not get in touch with you after the registration.
Before Payment they call you everyday, after that you have to call them and sumbit the complain.
Avoid this Platform not worth it at all to waste money on this.

Es mejor contactar con las camaras de comercio y/o embajadas de cada pais para que te pasen listados de vendedores reales, verificados y legales de cada uno de los productos que necesites.

I am writing this review to warn other buyers and small business owners about my experience after using Global Sources to source FMCG products, as I believe buyer safety is seriously lacking. I submitted my product requirements through Global Sources and was contacted by suppliers who appeared professional and credible and were presented in a way that created trust, including references to being verified suppliers; based on this, I placed two separate orders and lost approximately USD $3,500 in total. After payment was made, the goods were never delivered, communication became inconsistent, and eventually stopped completely. When I contacted Global Sources for support, I was shocked to be told that these were “not their suppliers,” which raises a serious concern as to how these parties obtained my contact details and knew exactly what I was sourcing through the platform. In my case, company names used included FMCG, S&P, A&L, and Brickyard LTD, all of which had professional-looking websites, invoices, emails, and WhatsApp communication, with contact numbers starting with +39, +45, and +44; however, after payment, none delivered goods or took responsibility. I am sharing screenshots of the websites and contact details used in my case purely to help other buyers recognise patterns and avoid similar losses, not to make assumptions about legitimate businesses with similar names. This experience has had a significant financial impact on me as a small business owner, and it is deeply disappointing that a platform marketed as a trusted B2B sourcing marketplace offers no effective protection or accountability once payment is made. I strongly advise buyers not to rely solely on “verified” labels, never send money without strong escrow or trade assurance, and to exercise extreme caution, as my intention in sharing this experience is simply to prevent others from going through the same loss.

I conducted business with Xuecheng Global Trader Co., Ltd in March 2024 after being introduced to a representative named Laurance Lu via WeChat. This company registry in Global Sources. I prepaid for products in accordance with a Proforma Invoice issued by the company.

Despite full payment, the products were never shipped as specified. After waiting for more than one year and making repeated attempts to resolve the matter, I was unable to obtain either the goods or a refund. As a result, I have retained legal counsel and initiated legal action in China.

Laurance Lu promoted products through multiple online advertisements. Based on my experience, I believe this transaction was handled in bad faith. I strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging in business with this company or with Laurance Lu, as there is a significant risk of financial loss.

The worst website for doing business. Might as well call it the phone book for WhatsApp. No one is who they say they are. No one is shipping from where they say they ship. You will pay tariffs to China when they are saying shipping from Miami. It's a bad place to go for anything. Dont waste your time here you might as well take your chances on whats app that is where they do business here.

As others wrote it is basically just scammers. Many of the companies are fake and they are not even located where they say

Scammed by shenzen novo aka hangzhou subi over 1300usd. Global Sources dont enforce anything. They platform scammers. Steer clear

It is a platform full with scammer supplier. Be very careful with this platform. The verified supplier status is basically useless. I have been scammed by the company named ASPIRING ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY CO LTD. I have ordered and invoiced for 4 units of RTX4090 Graphics Card but when it reaches me, it is a cheap RTX4060. Supplier is not willing to refund or sending the correct product as ordered. Reported to the platform and their "thoroughly" investigation is a hoax. They will just washed their hand after asking all sort of nonsense evidence. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLATFORM AT ALL COST. It is a scammer supplier heaven.

I was scammed by a supplier that contacted me through watsapp messaging because of this platform. I had a bad feeling about it so i made a small order of $200 but after i sent the money he asked for more money for a " refundable shipping insurance". I tried canceling my order and asked for a refund but he said it was not possible. Global source shame on you for allowing scammers to access my phone and info even tho i did not request it to be shared. I asked one source on the platform for a quote and i got multiple watsapp messages from Ukranian supppliers. They are all like Zelensky, they just want more money!!

This platform is full of scam suppliers, avoid this platform. GlobalSources don’t do any DD about the suppliers on her platform. I dropt a request and 100% of 20 quotations where scam quotations. Don’t waist you’re time!!

Global source sends daily spam emails, they have unsubscribe links on the bottom of their email lists, but they do not honour unsubscribe requests, this is illegal and has been reported .

DON'T TRUST THE GLOBAL SOURCES'S GOOD REVIEWS, MOST LIKELY FAKE! CHARGING TOO MUCH FOR SAMPLES AND THE BAD REVIEWS AREN'T FOR NOTHING!
