Glynns Skip Hire Reviews 

My husband ordered a skip that arrived no issues and the driver was very friendly. Now they were meant to collect it today 8-12 we woke up early, cleared all the cars from the drive which involved coordinating with neighbours as it was a shared drive and they never showed. Trying ringing them several times and no answer. We are travelling tomorrow and whilst they may turn up who knows when to collect now no one will be there to supervise. Now we have the hassle of trying to get through to them to collect the skip that is sitting there…

Further to the above review they have now responded as you can see. Please note Glynn’s that my husband definitely booked the collection on Friday 3.7.26. I also used your what’s app number myself on 4.7.26 as the main office line closes at 12pm and as stated we had left messages and got no answer. You still haven’t replied to my what’s app message today ( but it is only midday I guess ) . I didn’t leave any address details in my message for you to know what address I was referring to , so you won’t know if it has been collected or not as of yet. So the fact you still haven’t responded to the what’s app is not great either.

My husband rang you early this morning on your what’s app number as he’s now abroad and you didn’t apologise or explain why you didn’t come. We weren’t told either that there was no collection booked. You just told us apparently someone was outside at the time of the call. The driver was waiting as he couldn’t get in as my car was in the driveway. We have a shared drive so we had cleared the cars on Saturday 8-12 in preparation but obviously we didn’t know when you were coming and so was waiting for you to confirm a new pick up time to sort all the cars out.

When I informed your driver that I didn’t know he was coming as the pick up was scheduled for Saturday he just shrugged and told me “ I’m at the bottom of the food chain” ( which is fair enough)

If Glynns are saying as below that they haven’t missed any collections either the person who booked it on Friday didn’t book it ( it was a lady who explained it would be any time from 8-12 and they couldn’t confirm an exact time slot other than that) or they are not being honest

My husband waited all morning from 8-12 on the collection date . We informed the neighbours to clear the drive and they didn’t show up! That is a fact.

On the plus side the skip has now been collected and there were no issues damage wise. However there was definitely a missed collection on 4.7.26 and if it wasn’t booked correctly this needs to be taken up with the lady who was working on Friday at the nw london depot. No sane person puts their neighbours through inconvenience to move cars, sits at home waiting for over 4 hours when they had other things to do and tries to call and leaves several messages to chase a collection if they never booked it to begin with! And if there was no collection booked why did you just turn up today and also wait for us to clear the cars out the drive! Clearly it either was booked and you missed it so showed today as the next working day or the person who booked it booked it for the wrong date.

Been using Glynns Skips for well over a year. Very professional and prompt service at all times. Extremely happy with them.

Very, very poor, outlandish type of a gangster approach in doing business.
Got my driveway damaged by one of their operatives whilst removing a skip that was sitting on my driveway for over 2 weeks.
When I reached out to the administrative team to have the matter dealt with, I was told they're not responsible for any damages caused.
After sending a formal notice to take legal actions, I was contacted by Bert, asking to come and fix my driveway. I don't of of Glynn being a construction company so I refused. He further refused to compensate for the invoice from my builder. The matter is now before the courts.

Please at every cost, avoid these gangsters

Haven’t Used their Skips , but was put in the unfortunate position that one of the drivers , dragged our stationary parked vehicle down the road , failed to stop, left no contact details despite numerous witnesses , fortunately the road is extensively covered by CCTV , seems they decided the value of repairs as opposed to a garages inspection ( compared to what !!! ) if this is their attitude to incidents due to their erratic driving , lack of adhering to the legal requirements of the law by way of stopping and leaving relevant info , I can only imagine their attitude on damaging your property without any cctv proof
This is a clear indication of Bad Business Attitude

This service provider is tge worst service provider ever
We ended up resorting to a lawsuit after they have damaged our property and told us they are not responsible
The wider public should avoid these people at glynns until they get it right .Will give update on the process

I visit Glynn's in Neasden on a weekly basis, now for the last three months. The staff are organised, professional, safe and polite. They all work brilliantly together like an orchestra, it's like poetry in motion!
One of the very few places I visit where I get asked; "How are you"?
"How's your day going"? All with a smile, It's Great. If you need a great, fast, efficient, well organised, professional place to dump your waste? Glynn's is the best place. Don't worry if your new and not sure what to do, I was too! Ask for 'DAN' the man, he is brilliant, as they all are, and Great at what they do.

but driver only gave me 30 minnts
they charge me 8yard skip but they delverd only 7yard skip.i report customer service but nobody sortedout my problem

Booking experience online was easy and also booking over the phone was “A”class I I wanted them to pick up and deliver another skip as the first one was full, guide lines on what you can or cannot put in the skip is clear so no one should get fine if you read the receipt sent to you.
