Amazing flavors and variety of the dishes…
The flavors and variety of the dishes are phenomenal and I've used Gobble for over thirteen years. It's easy to change your orders and tailor things how you like. Though there was a small increase in price, there has been little change over these many years, and I find it such a great value for the meals. The one thing in recent years that has not been as good is that some of the ingredients don't come in the best quality. On a few occasions, the packaged chicken is a little leaky with juices, and then there are some of the softer vegetables (like cucumbers and zucchini) that seem frozen and then thawed, so that they are soggy and not usable at times. But whenever I brought this up to the Gobble staff, they gave me a little compensation.

Gobble has taught me so much about…
Gobble has taught me so much about cooking techniques and food from different cultures. Their recipes are simple to make because most of the ingredients are precut. The protein, especially the beef flat steak, is tender and tasty; the salmon is always flaky and moist. Gobble may be slightly more expensive but the quality is what makes their meals worth it!

Quick and delicious
Gobble meals are delicious and come in a great variety of flavors. I love that they are all quick to prepare and full of fresh ingredients. There are occasional shipping snafus where veggies freeze or show up mushy, but most ingredients are well protected during the shipping process. A bit pricier than other meal boxes but the convenience and the fact that you rarely have to supplement much from your own kitchen, make it worth it.

Need more basic options
Needs to be more meals that people that don’t like complex flavors can enjoy. Not everyone likes Indian, Thai or other foods like that. If you had some more meals that are very basic I would buy more. Moved to only 2 meals a week because it’s getting harder to find meals I would eat.

The gobble meals are wonderful
The gobble meals are wonderful. I like the variety and quality of the meals.
We have been getting them for over 5 years.
I wish they had a phone app that allowed for me to get the notices and change the menu without having to go online. I wish there was less plastic packaging. The packaging for the meats leaks much less often than it used to. Zucchini and cucumber often are ruined by accidental freezing or bruising from the hard plastic containers in The bag. I really wish we could do something with the insulating packaging— seems it could be used for something?

One of the best meal service providers
I have tried other meal service providers and have found Gobble to be the easiest to prepare and of very high quality. I incorporate them in my own meal planning about once a month during a week that I am really busy. It is very easy to opt out of the weeks when I want to manage meals on my own.

We have tried many different meal kits
We have tried many different meal kits, and Gobble is the one for our family of 4. it’s been over 5 years now. For me, the most important criteria is taste and flavor, and gobble rarely disappoints and often wows us. The selection includes a lot of ethnic options (even ethiopian!) which I really appreciate because I live where there isn’t easy access to Asian food. The 2nd most important thing is how fast and easy they are to prepare. Lastly, their website is easy to use - it’s easy to choose meals and skip deliveries.

While the meals that I order are typically good, it has become more common to be missing ingredients, have the wrong meal sent, or have "bad" ingredients sent. And, although Gobble will refund partial or full orders based on these errors, it becomes very difficult to plan and have food available to cook.

Good quality
The food that they send is generally a very good quality in terms of freshness and flavor.
I like that the recipes are easy to prepare and some of the prep work is done beforehand so I have less that I need to do to get dinner on the table for my family.
Occasionally, there are a few ingredient problems but customer service always resolves the issue.

Excellent quality, great recipes
I've tried most meal delivery services, and Gobble is hands down the best with respect to quality and ease of preparation. Meals are consistently delicious and not overly complicated to make, ingredients are fresh, and recipes are interesting and appetizing. The only drawbacks for me are price--Gobble is not cheap--and sometimes packaging. Living in Florida, my delivery boxes are exposed to very high temperatures, and ice packs have often arrived partially melted. Customer service is responsive and will issue refunds for items that arrived thawed or damaged. Excellent experience with this service overall.

Food is good, but…
Food is good. However, they miss the little things. For example, the avocados they send are not ripe. They amount of plastic they use is also unfortunate.

Gobble has been great
Gobble has been great. I am the primary cook and have a full time job so it has helped save weeknight dinners. I love the flexibility and ease of selecting meals etc. occasionally when something has come and it hasn’t met standards, they are quick to respond and adjust typically with credits. I am vegetarian so it also has helped me make dinners for my son who eats meat. I don’t really know how to cook meat but this makes it easy.

We have been using gobble for over 10 years!
We have been using gobble for approximately 10 years now. It really saves us on weeknights when we're getting home from work late and the kids are tired. It's important to us to offer the kids a home-cooked meal, but it's so nice to not have to have to worry about meal planning or shopping for all the different ingredients. Quality meal kits
I've been using Gobble for a couple years now and really enjoy the meal kits. I like that there are a lot of ethnic meals and meals that I would normally think are "too fancy" to make on my own but are simplified with the kit ingredients and recipe cards. The website makes it easy to view, add, subtract meals, or skip delivery for the week. Very rarely I have received a kit that is missing an item or contains an item that was damaged or past its prime, and customer service has been very responsive in providing refund credits after a simple email is sent notifying them of the problem.

Gobble is very good!
Overall I always tell people how good the food is! I told my friend she would love it and she said too much work to prepare all the cutting up. I don’t mind and prefer having fresh vegetables and fixing’s to having them pre-cut, certain things like hard squash, I don’t mind. Anyway, the sauces that are prepared are always so good. They make a common meal “uncommon” and it’s just opening the package and adding. The variety of types of food is remarkable, as in featuring different countries and cultures. The quality of proteins varies. The strip steak can be grizzly and tough, then another time be much better. Seafood has always been good. Chicken is fine.
For us, my husband is 76 and I am 68, we have always eaten well. I have always cooked healthy, delicious meals so we have high standards, and we think Gobble is the best over-all we have tried. We have had subscriptions with Fresh Chef, Factor, and Green Chef. Maybe others I can’t recall. Food is good, healthy and usually fresh, only twice did I have to throw vegetables away after the end of week.
