The staff and Chris Davies where very helpful and quick to give me my discount as I had signed up but it had not yet come through via email to me, but Chris acknowledged it and just honour the discount to me.

Bought the Tiny 1 Umbrella, which I could have delivered the next day. The item was shown to be available to in store. So opted to collect in store for Thursday. After placing the order I get a message - available to collect Wednesday next week. I went in store to see why and the item was not available and it had to come from another store! It turned up on the Saturday, opened it up on the way to my holiday and found it was a used umbrella and the handle in a bit of a state and not new!

First time visiting the store the staff members were very helpful and very cheerful we definitely be going back.

Went to the Shrewsbury Go Outdoors Express to buy some insoles, the staff were very helpful and polite. I think the member of staffs name was Ian.

It’s a good store with a good range of things to buy our only criticism is the customer service that lacks a real sense of nothings to much trouble if you ask one of the staff. This is key especially when you can just order online for most things today & it costs nothing to be polite or helpful. Manners aren’t a generational thing it’s a part of all of us & it always gets noticed if someone is especially nice. Hope go outdoors read what people write as this is a genuine review…. 😃 C

The staff in store were amazing helpful and pleasant no probems at all.
your online ordered is absolutely terrible. Make me download some shop app to track which didnt update past awaiting information after a week and never past that.
Took 6 minutes to get through the phone auto bullshit to then get on hold for an extra 40 minutes before giving up as i dont think you even have a customer service and going instore to finding the staff knowing exactly what my delivery was by name as it arrived the day before.

I went to buy walking boots. I was served by Elin and Ed who spent well over an hour incredibly patiently and knowledgeably helping me make the right decision. I truly felt that their goal was to deliver the best outcome for me rather than make a sale. Many thanks.

Very helpful and has sized me up with big comfortable spacious boots, which have been very useful over the last few days.

Elin was really helpful in finding an adjustable strap for me. The rucksack repair kit was perfect.

One word: Matt. He was amazing. We rock up half an hour before closing on a Sunday afternoon with what was probably his biggest challenge for a while... finding boots to fit me! I had already been elsewhere, and given up, so came into this shop with zero expectations. Matt's patience and practical knowledge were outstanding. His determination to help me paid off, and after he was up and down the stairs like a gazelle at least 10 times, we found the holy grail: a boot that fits!!! A genuine huge thank you Matt; you really gave me the best customer experience I can remember, and your professional expertise and patience are a rarity for which you should be recognised

The assistant, Elin, could not have been more helpful. She was delightful to deal with as was the person on the cash desk. Thank you.

We were assisted by Ethan who was very friendly and approachable. He helped find what we were looking for and assisted with the fitting (child's shoes) the whole process was very smooth and easy. Thank you!

The sales advisor was somewhat abrupt and arrogant in his manner. I felt uneasy at his gloating that Black's was closing down, and whilst business is business, there is always a human involved in that business. I shall think carefully before returning to shop here again.
