I was a little unhappy as I bought a gas pipe fitting for my cadac , at the till I asked a colleague last week if they were universal fittings , they assured me it would fit my newly purchased cadac . I went away for the weekend with my wife and VW camper . Fully stocked up on meats etc , excited to use my new cadac only to find that the gas pipe sold was indeed the wrong one .
I found out that there is a screw and a quick release fitting of which mine was . We then had to eat out which cost us considerably more money .
As you can imagine i was not really happy about the service / advice I had been given but as soon as I entered the store and spoke to Claire and Karen their cheeky charm and wit soon had me laughing and they simply asked me to swap it then served me the refunded difference. All with good craic . Credit to them both for impressing a customer who initially was unhappy to say the least . Smooth and easy with great personality.

I was in to looking for walking shoes for the 3 Peaks just before the walk ( foolish I know !) And while looking at a mass of shoes not knowing which would be best, Rebecca a staff member came over and was very helpful in getting a shoe that fit perfectly.

Since then I have completed the walk and can safely say they were an amazing pair of shoes that gave me no blisters until the very end of the walk but even then this was my fault for not having a spare pair of socks.

So in summary id highly recommended this store both for choice and service ( from Rebecca)

One of the lights I received was a faulty return,all the box it was in
was torn and taped up with sellotape ,button broke and battery not sealed plus not working
Had to go back to shop to return ,would not exchange cos lights in shop were £2 dearer cos of new packaging ,
Lights came from Kingston store ,I returned to Stockton store
I did not return a faulty item ,the light i received was obviously an item that a previous customer had returned faulty but was sent out to me in that condition,packaging ripped and taped up with sellotape
instead of a new one in sealed packaging ( it was NOT NEW )
Hence me having to go back to the store again for me to get a NEW light
Which should of been sent to me in the first place

We had an expected date for click & collect, but we didn’t get the promised email telling us the item was in store. We had to call GO - Daisy was apologetic and helpful.

I have visited go outdoors, Stockton several times over the last couple of months for various reasons. The two most recent have been to look at walking boots and running trainers, both times I have dealt with a member of staff called Jay, who works on footwear. I have to say Jay or Jason, has been brilliant and a shining example of true customer service, a real credit to the company. He is knowledgeable and really knows his stuff when it comes to footwear. He very helpful, patient and has a real interest in helping customers find exactly what they are looking for.

Both VIKKI and HELEN were amazing in helping us find as well as sort out what we needed today. Great staff

Rob was brilliant and helped me with some extras for my Hi-gear Lavvu tent. Very helpful, highly recommended.

Excellent customer service today from Rob at Stockton. We needed some replacement poles for some older oex tents which are discontinued. Rob managed to find some replacement poles in the warehouse that will cut to size. He donated these to our DofE group free of charge. Top bloke going the extra mile.

Collected a pair of walking shoes from online purchase but had to return as they'd sent two different size shoe. No issue with returns and purchased an alternative pair in store. Picked up a bargain, half price ladies barbour jacket on my way out. Very happy 😊
