Really helpful and pleasant service from Shirley (S2592) when I was looking at the different types of non-slip grippers for shoes. I was clueless about them, so she took time to explain the difference between them, show me how each worked, and helped find the most suitable pair. Really lovely to find staff like Shirley, will definitely visit again due to this excellent service.

Excellent and informative sales assistant, Paul, who told us everything we needed to know about D of E equipment.

Nicola and Daisy are very knowledgeable about the products, helpful and a level of customer service which is often missing from the high street.

Paul was really knowledgeable and really took time to explain the pros/cons/features of the backpacks we were looking at. He gave us the confidence to make a sound purchase.

I visited to look for hiking boots. There was a good range of around 70 mens boots covering a wide price range. Lian was helpful in finding the sizes I wanted to try for a number of different styles. I spent some time trying them on, and after trying some half sizes, settled on some really good Meindl boots. Good quality products and efficient, no-nonsense service.

We were having a look around and noticed the member prices. We asked how they worked and the lovely young lady explained clearly. We bought a coat and were served by a lovely lady called Shirley@worcs 2592, she advised us on the care and washing instructions, Shirley was very helpful and polite.

I was looking for replacement boots for summer walking in the Alps.

The "sale" signs persuaded me to go inside the shop and have a look.

The ladies boots section of the shop was clearly labelled and the boots were informatively displayed telling me their main characteristics and current prices. I was pleased to see good quality boots by Merell, Salomon, Berghaus and other makes selling at very competitive prices.

The sales assistant, Shirley, was very pleasant, and spent a long time with me as I tried various boots on. She told me how various boots were made and how I should take care of them. She compared the materials used in the different boots and carefully checked the fit of those I tried on
She was not "pushing a sale" at all. She just knew the boots very well.

I have bought boots from Shirley before and will do so again.
I would give her a full 5 star rating.

Shirley in your Worcester branch, was absolutely excellent. Nothing was too much trouble in her efforts to find us what we needed - two pairs of walking boots and one pair of wellies. She was patient, resourceful and very knowledgeable. What a refreshing change to find such great customer service these days!

As a Customer Service professional consultant with over 40 years experience it is (unfortunately) rare these days to come across two excellent service providers like Lian and Shirley in the Worcester store.
Lian was very warm and welcoming and helped me find the product I was looking for and then Shirley took over. She was very friendly, extremely helpful and informative and, despite my reticence, 'sold me' on joining the benefits scheme.
Despite working in retail for many years she retains her motivation and enthisiasm to underpin her other attributes so she is exemplary and a credit to the business.
