The program has been great and offered amazing help throughout my journey, the most helpful is the coaches, they have made me better from nailing interviews to even talking to recruiters. I have shifted my mindset during this program and its allowed to me maximize my potential.

I am having a very positive experience with GovTech Academy. The program is well structured, relevant, practical, and delivered by knowledgeable instructors. Having accountable coaches is a game changer in this academy by helping us to stay motivated to acheiving our goals. These coaches also help with a step by step guide to reaching the role you wish to acquire. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in changing their career into cyber security.

I'm doing a career change to the tech field and I'm coming off the press, hot and fresh, with absolutely NO tech experience!!! What makes my learning journey great for me is the overwhelming support that I receive from my Accountability Specialist, Khristal and my Accountability Coach, Alec! Khristal and Alec are very supportive and they give me the extra push to keep going when I feel defeated. Whenever I need them I just send a quick email or a chat message to schedule a zoom call. They ALWAYS answers promptly and help me stay on track! I enjoy our zoom check-ins because I don't feel rushed... They take the time to listen to my concerns and my accomplishments! The community chat room within this platform is non-judgemental and everyone genuinely want to see each other succeed! By staying disciplined and positive, I expecting great things out of the program!

My experience with GovTech Academy was great because of how practical and career focused the program felt. The instructors didn’t just teach theory, but they made sure we understood how to apply concepts in real world IT and cybersecurity scenarios. That hands on approach made the learning more engaging and valuable.

Jazzmin responds quickly, efficiently and tries to resolve most of my questions and concerns the best she can. It’s always a smooth process when we talk or meet and I’m able to walk away with a lot of clarity after our meetings. Great experience so far it’s appreciated during this journey.

My experience has been great! The support you get to reach your goal is is amazing. Witnessing people in the community hit their goals pushes me to keep achieving my own goals.

I entered GovTech’s VIP circle with a robust foundation already in place. Having worked in cybersecurity since early 2021, I currently serve as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) for the Department of War.

My credentials include a Top Secret (SCI) with Full Scope Poly, three industry certifications, a Master’s in Cybersecurity, and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate at Marymount University.

Any significant professional progress I’ve made happened before I joined the VIP circle. Much of my current work and trajectory was already "in the works long before I signed up.

I joined primarily out of curiosity to see what the GovTech ecosystem was all about.

Overall, my experience has been very positive:
• The Weekly Calls: These are the highlight. There is immense value in hearing folks share their real-world ideas and experiences navigating the current cybersecurity job market.
• Tools & Resources: The program provides a solid suite of resources that are genuinely useful for those looking to sharpen their edge or break into specific niches.
If you are looking for a community of practice where you can exchange ideas and access a curated library of resources, GovTech is excellent.

It’s a great "pulse check" on the industry. However, if you are already a high-cleared, advanced-degree professional, view this as a networking and supplemental tool rather than a foundational one. It’s a great place to stay sharp, even if you’ve already carved out your path.

It's been reassuring with the coaching calls and zoom meetings. Making time to jump into the modules even if it's a short learning it keeps my momentum of taking the right step forward to my goal. Tatiana's been very helpful with her own experiences in the learning modules and the genuine approach towards the govtech program.

The resume review and interview coaching is very strong. Having an accountability coach is also great.

One thing that could be improved is job search coaching. Most of the coaching emphasizes people who already have a security clearance, which is not my situation personally.

I hoped that after I got my Security+ certification I would be able to transition into a role relatively quickly, but that hasn't been the case, and it's been quite a long process. Factors that have influenced this, I must acknowledge, are beyond Govtech Academy's control.

My experience with GovTech Academy has been excellent from the start. The customer service is responsive, supportive, and genuinely invested in your success. They provide a wealth of structured resources that make it easier to build the knowledge and confidence needed to earn your certification, especially Security+.

What stands out most is the one-on-one accountability coach, who keeps you grounded, focused, and consistently moving forward — even when balancing other life commitments.

The experience was precise and encouraging to keep me going and motivated with the process. my coach was active participant within the call.

Jazzmin has been so helpful and informative during our check ins. I really enjoy speaking with her. I don’t feel overwhelmed & she breaks everything down to make the information digestible. I truly appreciate her guidance.

So far the meetings and modules within the program are useful and have helped me in my preparation for the CySA exam and my job search

My Testimony: On January 26, 2026, I started my journey toward a better life. My lifestyle is not bad now, but I knew I could do better. Like you, I discovered GovTech. Since January 26, I have been deep into the modules, attending the Zoom sessions, and following the blueprint. This past Thursday, I earned the CompTIA Security+ certification. On Friday, I received my revised resumes. Friday evening, I created profiles on Indeed, Glassdoor, and ClearanceJobs, set daily alerts, and immediately applied for 10-15 jobs every day! On Monday, I did an interview for a contract-contingent position in Huntsville. Tonight, I completed round one for a position in New Mexico, and I just finished a call with a recruiter for a position in Reston, VA. The process works, but you have to be willing to do the work. Beez, the “Tell me about yourself” elevator pitch template saved me!

This program has been nothing but awesome, the staff and support have always been supportive.

I'm enjoying my experience in the GovTech course. The curriculum is well-structured and up-to-date with current industry certification training. The instructors as well as the accountability coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in student success. I especially appreciate the hands-on projects, which has helped me build and enhance my skills. Overall, this program provided a strong foundation and valuable real-world experience that I can directly apply in my career.

GovTech Academy is very structured, and they hold you accountable with check-ins to ensure you are hitting your goals. I had some prior industry experience, but I did not have much of the required knowledge to properly study and prepare for these certifications. I'm glad I found them. I actually passed my exam thanks to them!
