My very high expectations were exceeded.
From my reading, looking at photos and glowing recommendation of 2 friends, I was pumped to go to Greenland. When my husband and I waited 4 weeks and still couldn't get on a cruise, I started surfing the web and found Greenland Travel. They had the tour we wanted...lots of hiking and a variety of locations with all transport, accommodations and breakfasts included. It looked good on my computer screen. Tom Jensen in the main office was very easy to communicate with and we were booked very quickly. Once we started in Reykjavik, things could not have gone smoother. Six people and the tour was still a go despite a brochure minimum of 8. John Holler was a superb guide with a thorough knowledge of the history, art, peoples, plants and geography of the country plus a passion for it all. He had a good sense of what we wanted and adapted accordingly.
Greenland for me was staggering in its beauty, size, remoteness and rawness. I have never felt so overwhelmed by a wild place before, and I have been to many. Its obvious to me that Greenland Travel knows Greenland and how to run top notch tours there. Thank you Greenland Travel for one of the best travel experiences of my life.

Great company with professional and friendly people
We had a travel to Nuuk and Ilulissat with Greenland Travel company. Everything was organized perfectly with best prices. Many thanks to all guides in our excursions for interesting programm and hospitality

Very interesting place to visit with spectacular sightings of Northern Lights and Glaciers
In Illulisat the icebergs were amazing and accomodation first class.
Dog sledding was very exciting
In Kangerlussuaq the norhern lights were spectacular but accomodation much more basic. The wildlife trip to see musk oxen was disappointing (no-show) and the optional evening trip to a local restaurant was a rip-off.
Overall a spectacular place to visit, but not cheap
