Supplier (in particular Cain Fang and Dennis) provided consistently terrible customer service and truly abysmal logistics management.

mislabelled goods have caused a complete lock with warehouse bills mounting and neither the freight forwarder or Greensun sorting it out; despite offers from me to help pay.

Greensun shipped late and used a freight forwarder that kept the goods in China for more than a month, resulting in missed deadlines on all pre-Europe legs.

Since arriving in Europe the mislabelling and incredibly poor quality comms (although very swift) and abymsally passive management of logistics have caused problem after problem.

so after 10 months (order in July 2025) the goods remain undelivered. Contract was DDP; c. USD8k for 28 440W bifacial panels, 2 15kW batteries, hybrid inverter, cabling, accessories and mounting rails/clips.

bottom lines:
1. Greensun will refuse to act honourably and stand behind their commitments;
2. Greensun will not put the customer first in any respect.
3. Greensun will not accept that a DDP contract is unperformed after (nearly) a year and reship or refund. For 6 months they have refused to provide any plan B.
4. Cain Fang refuses to escalate meaningfully.
5. Greensun (Cain Fang) lied repeatedly in comms about the status of the order and that they have insurance for these things.

Do not order from this supplier without going through trade-assurance (which Greensun refused) or similar. If you must, then ensure you are a named party on all BoL's and that you take out insurance. Honestly, if they treat customers like this before the goods arrive, I shudder to think what warranty claims will look like.

I've also read extremely troubling things about the quality of the panels that they ship and the gross underperformance. I cannot judge this for myself.

Buyer Beware...

I bought 30KW solar system from Greensun Solar. When installing, I was having been let down by my installer, I contacted Greensun Solar directly. They were incredible. The person I spoke to guided me through a few simple checks and remote video guidance. Then my solar system is back up and running. I’m so pleased as my solar set up was a significant investment and it’s great to feel like the warrantee means something.

The quality of the products provided by your company is excellent, and they are very smooth to use. They solved my big problem. Thank you for your dedication and professionalism.

Bad costumer sirvice, my dad purchased a battery and his warranty was not honoured. very bad experience. 0/10 would not recommend.

They do not honor their warranty, and do not keep thier promoises, they are also unprofessional. Their sales people are very disrespectful, and will block you as soon as you bring up a warranty issue, and most of their solar batterys are defective.

Cheaters and fake specifications. Dont spend your money on this company.

Don't waste your time or money, this company is a rip off. I have waited over a year before giving this negative review, which was more than enough time for Peter and his Team to fix my issues. I ordered Solar Panels, Inverters, Lithium Powerwalls as well as Rack mount Batteries "All are garbage" only solar panels work but not at capacity stated. Please dont make the mistake I did by wasting thousands of dollars on this garbage.

Cheater, just a trader, no factory at all.

We are a green energy company dealing in solar products for more than 8 years. Our experience with Greensun Solar Energy Tech Co. Ltd is negative. We ordered 3 types of solar panels from them, all of which are underperforming against labelled specifications. in some cases underperformance is only about 10%, but an entire batch of 200W panels actually had an output of 125-135W in reality. In spite of providing proof from a certified national test laboratory on this underperformance, the company rejected to provide meaningful compensation beyond a symbolic discount for a new order. We believe that this approach is systemic in this company: While claiming that they have their own factory, they actually produce with third party subcontractors and then hide behind them, claiming "the factory doesn't approve the claim". Don't waste your time and money with this company.
