Forced Stop-Out Due to 100 Dollar Gold Spread at GTCFX
I am giving GTC a 1-star review based on my personal trading experience with XAUUSD.
My GTC MT5 account: 51102626
On May 25, 2026, at the Monday market open (around 05:05 AM Vietnam time), all of my Gold positions were forcibly stopped out due to an extreme spread expansion.
According to my trading records, my positions were closed at approximately 4499.62. However, the market later opened and traded around the 4550 area and continued rallying strongly. The stop-out price was significantly below the visible market price shown on the chart.
What shocked me most was the spread at the time of liquidation. My screenshots show a Bid price of 4499.70 and an Ask price of 4599.91, representing an extraordinary spread of nearly 100 dollars on Gold.
In addition, my platform displayed a margin requirement close to USD 50,000 for these positions, despite the actual account balance being only around USD 1,700. Under such conditions, no retail trader could reasonably protect positions from forced liquidation.
I fully understand that spreads may widen during market openings, low liquidity periods, or volatile conditions. However, I do not consider a spread of nearly 100 dollars on XAUUSD, combined with immediate forced liquidation, to be a normal trading condition.
I submitted screenshots, trade records, stop-out prices, and detailed explanations to GTC support. Unfortunately, I only received generic responses stating that spread widening is normal and that the prices received were consistent with market conditions.
My concern is not the trading loss itself. My concern is the lack of transparency regarding pricing, execution quality, and risk management during market opening conditions.
I strongly recommend that traders carefully consider the risks of holding positions over the weekend with this broker and review the attached evidence before making a decision.
This review reflects my genuine experience and is supported by screenshots from my trading platform and account history.
Update after GTCFX response on June 8, 2026:
Prior to posting this review, I had already exchanged more than 10 emails with GTCFX support and provided screenshots, trading records, stop-out details, and spread evidence.
Despite this, I only received general explanations that spread widening during market open was normal. My concern remains that an extreme spread expansion occurred around the market open on Monday, 25 May 2026. According to my trading screenshots, the chart price at the opening gap (around 05:05 AM Vietnam time) was approximately 4550.x, while all of my BUY XAUUSD positions were forcibly liquidated at around 4499.x.
For transparency, I encourage readers to independently check historical XAUUSD opening prices on 25 May 2026 (around 05:05 AM market open) across major trading platforms. The market price at that time was generally around the 4550.x area, which makes the liquidation level in my case significantly different from the visible market price.
I am still waiting for detailed pricing records, liquidity provider quotes, execution logs, and supporting data explaining the price movement and the pricing used for the forced liquidation.
I appreciate the company's statement that the case will be reviewed further and look forward to receiving a detailed investigation supported by verifiable data.

Withdrawal is pathetic
Using this broker for more than 6 months, but now their withdrawal system is becoming too pathetic.
I used my Indian credit card once for a deposit. Since then, every withdrawal is being credited back to that Indian credit card, even when I deposit using my UAE bank account.
They don’t provide any proper explanation for this issue, and the withdrawal process feels very frustrating and poorly managed. Customers deserve clearer communication and better control over withdrawal methods.

I am extremely disappointed and shocked by the fraudulent tactics of GTCFX. I requested to close my account with a balance of $9.33 (933 USC). Instead of returning my money, they disabled my MT5 account.
First, they emailed me asking for a $10 deposit to "enable" the account. When I confronted them, they changed their story, lied that they never asked for $10, and now they are demanding a $50 deposit just to activate the account. This is a clear trap to steal more money from traders.
A regulated broker must settle the balance during account closure regardless of minimum limits. GTCFX is intentionally holding my funds and providing contradictory information in every email. Do not trust this broker with your hard-earned money. They are scammers who target small accounts!

POINT B (The $10 Extortion): GTCFX manually disabled the MT5 account and demanded a $10 deposit to "enable" it (Ref: Screenshot 20260421-164437).
POINT C (The $50 Escalation): GTCFX now denies the $10 demand and requires a $50 deposit to activate the account (Ref: Screenshot 20260423-092827).
3. TECHNICAL MALPRACTICE REPORT
The MT5 Terminal for account 6255007 explicitly displays "Trading disabled on server." This is a manual server-side block applied by the broker. Furthermore, GTCFX is using portal withdrawal limits ($10) as a pretext to lock the client's $9.33 balance, refusing to process a manual settlement.
4. REGULATORY NON-COMPLIANCE
International brokerage regulations mandate that upon account closure, all remaining equity must be returned to the client. Demanding "activation deposits" to release existing profits is a violation of financial ethics and transparency laws.
5. FINAL SETTLEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

I have had a very disappointing
I have had a very disappointing experience with GTCFX or Global Capital Companyover the past 3 months. The execution quality is extremely poor. Every time you place a buy stop or sell stop order, there is consistent slippage of around 18 cents, which is unacceptable. Even stop loss execution is unreliable, with around 8–9 cents slippage on both buy and sell positions.
It feels like the system is designed to work against traders rather than provide fair market conditions. There are also thousands of pending cases reported by clients, yet the support team provides no proper solutions—only delayed or generic replies with no resolution.
This level of service is highly concerning, and it raises serious questions about transparency and fairness. If this continues, I believe regulatory authorities such as the UAE government or Securities and Commodities Authority may eventually need to investigate.
Overall, a very frustrating experience. I strongly advise traders to be cautious before dealing with this company.

I introduced a client who deposited USD 1,000,000 in November 2025 with GTC FX. The agreed commission was 6%, of which 3% was paid, but the remaining 3% (USD 28,500) has been pending for over 4 months despite multiple follow-ups with management.
