Warrington Hotel

Warrington Hotel
Good - Bed comfortable, heating good, ventilation good. Pod clean on arrival, not serviced during stay. Water pressure low. Not sure how it will cope with more rooms opening.
Bar area OK, but small if hotel, plus extra accommodation areas, full. Will offer Uber eats if food service closed.
Only using as room as convenient place to stay, cannot comment on any other facilities. Used bunk room as wardrobe and dressing room.
Have previously stayed in main hotel building, larger room, but no sound proofing and had herd of elephants staying in room above, and noise from adjacent rooms.
Not so good -
New reception area came into operation - no signage, just locked old gates. Very convoluted, and poorly lit, new route into hotel. Very poor, no notice to those already checked in. No apology on checking out, not even a have a good day.
Wifi intermittent, phone signal O2 non existent. TV signal non- existent at some times.
Staying in 'pod'. Double bed up against a wall and open side cramped. No where to put anything beside bed or to put folded clothes. Needs shelf above hanging rail and small bedside table.
Water pressure low, though shower just about acceptable, but no soap in shower.
Tea/coffee etc on arrival, but room not serviced during stay, so no top up for days 2 and 3.
'New' Car park (old unsurfaced overspill car park) very tight spaces and not full complete. Only partial tarmac and no decent lighting. Hopefully will be resolved once pirate rooms open.
Raised all issues with staff team, didn't seem to care.

We went today family of five 2 children…

We went today family of five 2 children was age 7-10 one of the children had needs some of the staff was very helpful but some totally clueless , we queued up for the rides then get told not working , some of the rides won’t even open very very disappointed, we went to get a hot drink and didn’t have half of the things what you had advertised up on the menu ,sadly we won’t be coming back to say it’s local to us too we just disappointed , 😞

Prices work on a sliding scale earlier…

Prices work on a sliding scale earlier you book cheaper they are, visited Matlock and it’s just tired, all the figures are paint chipped the rides poorly maintained with industrial tape flapping on the log flume, and vile stagnant water, this them park is seasonal (closes oct-March) so no real excuse for it looking this tatty, food on offer vile over priced and cooked in stale fat, with limited options, £7,95 for a kids bundle which wasn’t too bad but the fries were undercooked, we did order a side of onion rings and they were delicious and we did pass someone who had pizza and they looked decent so maybe we just chose wrong,

The one thing that set this place aside from anywhere else I’ve visited lately were the staff!

They were all exceptional, friendly, polite, respectful! Every single team member seemed genuinely happy to be working and really were amazing

Just need to work on appearances as it’s tatty and let’s it’s down

Some staff rude,unhelpful did not…

Some staff rude,unhelpful did not believe me when I told them they had put a transaction through twice,so waste an hour of kids time why they got managers showing them on wallet and bank that they charged me twice,for them to finally refund me,then manager told me I was talking loud after all this of having to hang around for manager,where I explained to him I am deaf in 1 ear so do speak loud as can’t hear properly how loud I’m speaking,and even if I was had a right to after waiting hour for 2 sets managers to come across to where I was to prove been charged twice.Small theme park,rides not great and run down needing repair and lick of paint

Horrendous!!

Horrendous!!! Peak Easter holidays Ona. Sunny day and in 3 hours have been on one ride. They have 1 member of staff on rides - having more than one would help run each ride quicker!! The park is dirty and rundown and we will not be returning. £120 wasted. A poor mans Alton towers is how I would describe Gullivers World!

Stayed at Gullivers Warrington on…Easter

Stayed at Gullivers Warrington on Easter weekend. The Theme park in places really needs a complete overhaul but overall the kids had a grest time.
The hotel room was really good, we stayed in the wizard castle room that sleeps 2 adults and 3 children. The room was lovely had a great shower , themed like Harry Potter and kids loved it.
On to Breakfast, this is the reason for the 2 stars.
We ordered 4 sausage baps and a bacon, the bacon was covered in what i presume was black scrapings from the griddle and not edible. The baps were stale and again not edible. The toast (if you can even call it toast) looked like had been left in the sun to go hard, not toast at all. There was no ketchup (they said had run out also no jam although advertised available, no cutlery was brought to table so had to go looking and eventually had to knock on kitchen door to just get a knife. WE WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. We do go regularly to visit but will maybe look at other venues for days out in future. Gullivers need to take a long look at the whole park experience , unhappy customer.

Great Day Out

Visited Milton Keynes. My Daughter is autistic and so a theme park’s approach to accessibility is very important. Staff were friendly, polite and accommodating. Overall we had a great day out, we’ve been a few times and will definitely return.

Just returned from an overnight stay at…

Just returned from an overnight stay at Gullivers Warrington. It was a gift for us with our granddaughters. It was a truly wonderful experience. The light show, grotto, little train ride and Santa were really magical! The staff were really friendly throughout the park, smiling and seemed genuine. There was a slight issue with parking, inconsistent information and a rude parking attendant.
The santa stay was well organised overall.
I agree with other comments, the park is rundown and quite grubby in places, especially eating areas which let's down the staff who work hard.

NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY

We attended as a family of 4 adults 1 toddler today 14.12.2035, i myself have a disability although mobile my mobility is compromised. We 1st found there was limited rides and attractions for our 2 year old to do as he is under the 90cm and one of the things he could go on ( the carousel ) I was thoroughly embarrassed as I was instructed to sit is a seat i couldn't physically fit in and when I politely asked if I could go and sit in the prince's coach I was told they was out of use today, I asked if I could just hold our toddler in the seat while standing behind to be told now and was ask to get off, I was so upset and embarrassed by this we carried on and tryed to put this behind us and proceed to go inside as it was almost our time to que for santa we got to where the pushchairs are left so we could park ours up and I needed the toilet, so I went to go in the ones next to where I was at this point I was in lots of pain with my disability and was met with a cleaner on the door who told me she wasn't letting anyone else in as she was going to do a clean, I ask very politely and explained that I was disabled and was desperate she said no and I was directed to the other side of the building I explained this was to far for me and I was still refused access again I found myself in a very embarrassed state. Now it was time for the que for santa which took over an hour even though we had an allocated time slot, with now points to rest seated and no options to bypass the several rooms. All in all I have had a very awful experience today and payed £112 for the displeasure

Christmas Cracker Day Ruined

My complaint about visit on Sunday 16th November we booked the christmas cracker package as this was for my children and grandchildren get to use the rides a dinner in the theatre and watch the pantomine then ride the polar express and get to see santa
But our visit was absolutely awful when we came into Gulliver's I went to the kiosk for the 2 access passes for the disabled children and then wondered into the theme park after going threw the turn style at no stage was it mentioned to me that the panto and train ride had been moved forward to a earlier slot
When we arrived at the theatre at 2pm we were told the panto and lunch had finished and that they were only doing one show today because the park was not full, I was so shocked upset and angry we had the 8 grandchildren waiting with us and were so excited I was appalled that at no time was we informed about this
the young girl who was very helpful apologized to us as the children were upset I told her we have had this booked since June as there was 16 of us
I was then worried we would miss the polar express train and grotto so she escorted all of us straight away as this had also changed time
again none said anything to us, we made the train but everyone was shocked that this had happened this was a huge part of our Christmas trip and a lot of planning goes into this
The grotto was fine and we was the only people their, the children got there presents and we was making our way back to the rides 3.15pm and was told the rides are closing here at 3.30 again no mention of this
and we like to do the rides and then see the land of lights in the dark this never happened either
This is actually very poor service for what I paid out and to make things even worse one of the grandchildren's board games from santa only had half the items in it the item was sealed no fault of Gulliver's but this just added to the anxiety everyone felt about the visit yesterday
we do the cracker trip most years as it is the best one but this year I am afraid it was not
I am hoping that this never happens again and make everyone aware how bad we was treated.
This was aexpensive visit for us and totally not worth the money I had spent I sent a email to complain no reply back at all.

The attitude of the staff named Lee and…

The attitude of the staff named Lee and the duty manager in the entrance is very rude and disappointing the customer. Highly suspected there is discrimination as not treating the customer the same and not friendly to explain the query from the customer as well. He is not patience to explain and even asking the customer to leave the park as it’s the private land. So rude! Never come again! Full of unfairness and lack of training to the front line staff.

Warrington

Visited on the 16th August for my son’s birthday (after a friend recommended). This was half term meaning the park was very busy. When arriving the car park attendants were waving the cars into spots. As I was waved into my spot I wasn't able to straighten up, move or reverse as the car park attendants where getting people in as fast as possible resulting in me park in front of a bollard/lamp post and the spot behind me either having to for a small car in (Peugeot 107) or not car at all without me being blocked in. After spending the day at the run down theme park and a very tired 3 year old we made our way back to the overspill car park. To find I was blocked in and unable to exit! I tried my very best to get out but scratched the front of my car in doing so. I made my way to the entrance to ask to speak to management and was told they were in a meeting so to email. I’ve tried to make numerous contact and had nothing back from the park! My said friend had visited not long after me and was appalled by her recent visit and said how down hill it had gone. She told me how packed it was and that isn’t surely wasn’t safe and to regulations and how people where saving places for other family members in the queues which resulted in many arguments. Just seems they are all money money and wanting to get as many people in as possible and just greed! Not somewhere I would return especially for the price!

Gullivers Milton Keynes - WHAT A DUMP. SAVE YOUR MONEY, STAFF ARE RUDE ( to be expected as are the vast majority of people in Milton Keynes). Totally selfish, letting off FIREWORKS. ABSOLUTELY IGNORANT.

Major makeover needed

Milton Keynes
I went with my children . We booked a one night stay and play. Dinosaur park was a nice welcome. We went on the river boat ride that had different dinosaurs peeking out from the leaves with a lovely voice over explaining the different types of dinosaurs and their history. The park was fascinating, the children were more than happy. Then onto Gullivers land , we had to wait for a 4 pm check into our jungle cabin. Staff were young teenagers, who sadly lacked enthusiasm needed for young arrivals. We were greeted with a run down park , overgrown bushes , cobwebs and tired looking buildings. The check-in department was closed. We had to wave down a member of staff to get someone to check us in . The cabin was dark and dingy and smelt of cat wee. The youngest started crying, “ I don’t want to go in there “ It was bright outside but we had to put all of the lights on and the overpowering smell was very distracting. Bedding was clean, the rugs on the floor , had a jungle theme, they were dirty looking and smelt.
Onto the Resturant to book our evening meal staff was unfriendly and greeted us with a low monotone hi. Food was edible . Dinning area sticky and unclean.
Day 2
We were so happy to leave the pungent smelly lodge . Onwards to the park. The children throughly enjoyed the rides and thrills. The soft ball area had dirty side tables and the play rooms on the sides smelt damp and off. Such a shame . Gullivers needs a major make over, they need to hire Staff who look like they want to be there.

Definitely not Worth the Money

Have just tried to book day tickets for a visit to Gullivers World Theme Park Milton Keynes which we did last year 2024 without any problem. The only option on line is to book a day ticket + firework display which starts at 8:45pm. As we are visiting for the day with young children there is no way we will be able to watch the firework display as we have to travel back to Norfolk. Have spoken to customer services who confirm you have to pay for the firework display whether you can watch it or not which is pathetic as you have to pay an extra £5 per ticket for this ! Sharp practice and definitely not worth it so will be looking for somewhere else to visit as this park is a little run down anyway.

I can only say for what your paying the…

I can only say for what your paying the whole place needs a good clean and painting looks so run down queue for ages for five minute rides as they don’t fill the rides up if it’s four seats put four in it not one cafe left a lot to be desired and toilets were dirty and certainly not cleaned the day before not the best and certainly wouldn’t go again

Been here for 4 hours and just sat on 3…

Been here for 4 hours and just sat on 3 rides. This was warrington. Nor worth it. Ques were too long. Kids got tired. Everything is expensive here. Ice cream, food , even chips!!!!!
