From the initial enquiry (a request to produce a belt for a buckle that I was to send) all the way through to receiving the final article Alison was attentive, communicative and professional. Even though I was fully at fault for dragging out the process (it took me quite some time to send the belt buckle), no frustration was shown and turnaround of an absolutely perfect-to-requirements belt was rapid as soon as it was received by Alison. As such, I can find absolutely no faults whatsoever in terms of Hadston Leather's core business.

The icing on the cake, and the thing that makes a good product truly great in my mind, is the commitment to local and historic industry: leather from Walsall, the home of UK leather manufacturing (and if you're get a belt in full a Walsall-forged brass buckle as well!). As such, not only are the product quality and service absolutely perfect, if comes with a feel-good buzz to boot.

From the moment of my first enquiry, I felt well looked after and updated along the whole process. I wanted to repair an old belt. Alison was very open to hearing what I wanted to achieve and used her skills and knowledge to restore my old trusty belt. (over 40 years old!).

Replacement belt buckle:
Alison provides a comprehensive service, with great communication all the way through. The new buckle is stainless steel and will undoubtedly outlast the original buckle. The stitching is at least as good as the existing, so the belt is now better than new: excellent value as I now do not not have to buy a new belt.

I had a leather belt which required shortening. Alison's workmanship was first class at an extremely reasonable price. She turned it round within a week and communicated with me during the process efficiently including posting it back to me. I would definitely recommend her.

Excellent service from start to finish. Firstly, Alison had to search out and locate the right size buckle for my belt (which is a non-standard size) - and then she replaced the buckle itself. The work is of the highest standard and I've very happy indeed.
