We purchased or FiDi condo through Hauseit and their partner broker. It was fantastic. There was no reduction in the quality of service simply because I was getting a rebate. In fact, the broker was much more knowledgeable and experienced than the 3 other brokers I had previously interviewed.

It's fantastic that this "private label" option exists for buyers and sellers in NYC. I'm generally a pretty suspicious person when something feels too good to be true, a most of what else I've found online appear to be scams. These guys were a god send. Got introduced to a very experienced, brand name broker. Plus got a rebate that's pre-arranged. Thank you Hauseit!

very useful company for anyone selling by owner. NYC has its own MLS and Hauseit gives you access to it. No need for listing agents, which can save you a bundle. You will probably have to pay a buyers' broker, but you get the exposure that a listing agent offers for almost free, compared to a listing agents' commission. Hauseit is the way to go for sure. I sold my house and saved 60k in commissions.

These guys are legit, efficient and professional. I sold my place within a week from when they took it & published to so many buyet sites AND best of all at a mininal fraction of commisions usually sought. Highly highly recommend.

Hauseit provides a MUCH needed service in the NYC real estate market. We used them on the selling side for two apartments and are now working with them as we search for a new home. Five stars all around. I highly recommend their services to anyone with an upcoming real estate transaction in the city!

I am very impressed with Hauseit. For this small fee, the quality of consultation and service is top notch. The agent assigned to assist with my listing is a highly intelligent and knowledgeable person who advised and helped with my own communications with purchasers, as well as with the micro-aims of engagements with independent buyer candidates and their agents.

This is a big deal to me because my prior experiences with full service agents have been disappointing: I have found them often concerned with getting their own needs met, making both sale and purchase processes more (not less) cumbersome and complicated.

Hauseit offers just enough agent assistance to help without getting in the way; their agent affiliate consistently had useful input without having any effect on my (seller) autonomy. In addition, his 'first email response' to buyers made sure they received a fast reply and that no one was missed. The affilate agent also clarified how buyers had each time indicated their preferred method of contact (something that can be confusing with SE, Zillow and Trulia responses in the FSBO scenario.)

The claims Hauseit makes about its listing service are all completely true: it gets the exposure equivalent to a full service listing. I've had excellent, steady, traffic. It hasn't been a mechanical "hands off" experience either, as they've been flexible in several extenuating circumstances I've had. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Hauseit to everyone who would like to save 6% commission. I used them and saved over $100,000 in commission. Their service was excellent. They list your property where every other broker lists and you get full exposure. They walk you through every step of the process. I highly recommend them.

We purchased the FSBO option selling our Co-op in Queens, NY. The service was seamless and we were extremely happy with the results. After about a week from listing we had multiple offers and will ended up saving the full 6% commission! We would recommend Hauseit to anyone selling in the NYC area.

Their professional team made it easy to navigate through all interested buyers who inquire via email, text, or voicemail. The money saved is definitely worth time spent scheduling and showing! A+

They are incredibly responsive and communicative, truly a 24/7 service. As an owner of an apartment , you will have full control throughout the listing and selling process; while you are being fully supported by a professional team at Hauseit and much beyond. I highly recommend Hauseit.

Bottom line: if you have the time and energy, using Hauseit is a no-brainer. You can pay yourself tens of thousands of dollars by saving commission on a broker.

If you're selling your property in NYC, you'll be doing all of the hard work anyway - cleaning and staging the property so that's ready for photography and open houses. You know the property better than anyone and can talk it up. But if you hire a broker, you're out 6% and the alignment of interests are terrible - they want a sale at any price, not at the right price for you.

With Hauseit, you can list for less than $1000. That's the listing itself, photography, and a floorplan - everything you need. Once the listing hits the MLS and StreetEasy, all the buyers brokers see it immediately and you'll get inbound requests from brokers AND un-attached, individual buyers. If you're lucky enough to find an un-attached buyer (no buyer's broker), you pay 0% commission.

If you have the energy to handle showings and open houses on your own, you can pay yourself tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars for the effort. For me, it was absolutely worth it and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I tried FSBO service with Hausesit in the spring of 2016. Then I got too busy to show the unit myself, so I switched to their full service. It worked! It is so much better paying 4% (1% to my broker and 3% to the buyer's broker) than 6% with a traditional broker! I would definitely recommend their service. The communication was very efficient and professional.

I've recommended Hauseit to at least a dozen people I know (sometimes just met) that are selling their home.

It took us about two days of going down the FSBO path before we realized the shortcomings: couldn't list on major real estate websites, ceaselessly inundated with calls by brokers cagily suggesting they had buyers, but really just trying to sign us.

Interestingly, Hauseit cold-texted me about their service and, though I was somewhat suspicious at first, they were very engaged in answering all my questions and concerns. The site was a bit rough around the edges and had trouble processing payment, but the folks I chatted with at Hauseit were very on top of all my questions and never pushy about upselling services. Honestly, after two home purchases and one sale, it was hard to believe there are folks in this industry that work purely for a seller/owner's interests, without ulterior motives or an eye on a fatter commission.

So I recommend the service not just because it help us secure our sale without a huge seller's agent commission but because, frankly, the folks at Hauseit personify the consumer-focused industry that real estate *should* be -- and that I hope they contribute to turning it into.

My goal was sell my NYC co-op without paying excessive broker fees. Because I had the time and energy to show my apartment whenever necessary, the Hauseit team, for me was perfect. For a very reasonable flat fee, Hauseit got me listed on all the major listing outlets, and screened all email and voicemail inquiries, gauging the potential interest of buyers by requesting info from the buyers' brokers. When potential buyers wanted to see the apartment, whether individually or at the open houses, I would show the apartment. The selling process went smoothly, and I saved $35,000 in broker fees. I have to say Hauseit has been a pleasure to work with. They were better then I expected. Excellent service all around. Did what their website said and more. If you are selling in NYC then check out Hauseit.com. They sent all buyers over to me and I was able to handle all the open houses myself and all the negotiations. All for a flat fee, what more can you really ask for!

I hated the idea of losing 6% in broker fees on a sale. I tried FSBO but after doing so I do think that buyers' agents steer their clients away from them out of fear they won't get a commission. Ultimately, after going FSBO for a while, we went with Hauseit and the experience was great. Our listing got up very quickly and whenever we wanted to update something or another they were very responsive. We had them help with two open houses and they were on-time and professional. We just accepted an offer at a price we're happy with (note: we did offer buyer's broker a commission, which I think is probably necessary to get traffic), and will definitely use Hauseit again!

I just closed on my apartment sale and saved thousands of dollars thanks to hauseit and their partners. I got more support than advertised and just can't say enough about how responsive and helpful hauseit was with my sale. I would definitley recommend them to anyone selling their apartment, especially if saving 3-6% is worth doing a little extra work. I would definitely use them again the next time I have a sale.
