Hays Travel - Formby Reviews 

Quite a stressful experience..not the sales assistants fault but it took a lot of time to link flights up with a hotel . We were unable to secure a double room as the sssistant warned the price could change whilst trying to do so.so ended up with a twin .
Also we were thrown out of the system so had to start from scratch. So it took a long time to book from start to finish.Not the best experience to be honest .

1st class service from staff that where more than happy to help they dealt with

And I had a speedy responce to my booking all in all an excellent service.

Brilliant first visit to Hays.
Gemma was so friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable about what my friend and I wanted to do. Answered all our queries and booked our trip very quickly.

The assistant was polite and friendly and obviously proud to work for Hays.
The reason I did not give 5 star may or may not be the responsibility of Hays Travel.
When looking at a holiday on the Hays Travel website and seeing the price, this year, several of the prices were misleading as the price did not include baggage on the airplane, so did not actually reflect the cost of the holiday at all. It was only when I visited the store that the true cost of the holiday, including baggage was revealed. If the online website cost does not include baggage, that should be made clear and the additional costs should be explained, so everyone can factor those in when determining which holiday to opt for.

It has been a number of years since I have booked a holiday through a travel agent and my first time booking with Hays Travel and I don't know why I didn't book before with Hays. The agent who helped me find my dream holiday at the Formby branch, was helpful, efficient and knowledgeable, giving me all of the information and options I needed to make a decision, the process was seamless and straightforward. Everything was explained to me in detail and the price was excellent, I will definitely book again with Hays Travel.

What a great experience we had booking our family holiday! Staff were very knowledgeable and could recommend locations we had never thought of, they even price matched for us!! Would highly recommend.

Professional friendly service. WE took in our plans for our trip to Australia and a quote was available the same day. With some tweaking it was all booked within days. Very good communication. Would definitely use Hays Travel again.
