Excellent service as usual from Harry at Hays Travel. Looked at various options to get the best deal possible for me.

The staff member Ruby, (the name on my docs) listed to what I was looking for and came up with some great options. She was so friendly and helpful and found us a great priced holiday. I went in to check in on a different day and he too was helpful. Thanks again to her and the amazing team at Huddersfield. Always a great experience.

Rachael dealt with my booking on line and by mobile as I am based in Peacehaven, East Sussex. Very efficiently arranged for my travel documentation to be collected from Hays Travel in Seaford, East Sussex. My my booking experience so easy.

Kim was very helpful in organising the exact holiday we wanted. She even rang Riviera to understand how much walking was involved in the tours as my wife has mobility issues.

I don’t often write reviews, but on this occasion I genuinely felt one was deserved.

Over the past couple of weeks I visited the Hays Travel Huddersfield branch around six times and also had several telephone conversations while organising what is a very special holiday for my family.

This will be the first time I’ve taken my two teenage children abroad without their mum following a difficult divorce. Organising passports, travel authorisations and everything else has been emotional and stressful, and because I was working to a tight budget, finding the best possible deal was incredibly important.

Every member of staff I dealt with was friendly, professional and genuinely wanted to help. However, one member of the team, Ruby, went above and beyond.

Several people searched for flights and tried to find me the best value, but Ruby found savings and options that nobody else had been able to uncover. What impressed me most wasn’t just the final price—it was her determination to keep looking until she found the very best solution.

In fact, when Ruby was off for two days, I deliberately waited for her to return because I had complete confidence in her ability to find something better. She absolutely delivered.

Thanks to Ruby, my children and I are now looking forward to an unforgettable trip to Toronto and New York. She didn’t simply book a holiday—she helped create memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

As a business owner myself, I understand that products and prices matter, but it’s people who build a company’s reputation. Ruby is a real credit to Hays Travel, and I sincerely hope she receives the recognition she deserves.
