Excellent service and experience

Booking a holiday threw Lisa was easy and she kept me up to date with everything that had changed and when my documents were being sent threw, this is my first time booking a holiday thus way and will definitely be doing it again so much less hassle. I would definitely recommend 😊

I have booked a few holidays with Lisa and she has always been great. Very helpful and makes it so easy and straight forward. She stays in contact before the holiday in case we have any additional requirement which is nice as usually you just book your holiday and dont hear from the agent again. Definitely recommend booking your holiday with Lisa.

Unfortunately I had an extremely bad experience. I booked 2 separate holidays with the Personal Travel Consultant named below. Upon receiving documents there were a series of errors not one or two but numerous of which included wrong passenger going on wrong holiday.. wrong DOB for another passenger… wrong spelling of name.. transfers listed as “make your own way” X 2 even though the price included transfers. Confirmation not sent within timelines ..48 hours after booking..I had to send an email as due to a car accident (thankfully no one hurt) that the holiday that was booked for my daughter and partner was now financially not possible. Within minutes the PTC phoned me from a mobile number.. not to show empathy or enquire about how my daughter was but was aggressive talked over me and threatened me with being to a debt collector for the full amount of the holiday.. when this attitude was taken I reminded her I had indeed another holiday booked for which I was happy to keep but after her numerous mistakes upon booking I had been willing to give her the benefit of the doubt but certainly not now when she was in the phone behaving in such a manner.. I requested she cancel my second holiday ..for which yet again I was threatened with debt collection agency for full amount. I told her I was ending the call and I would no longer communicate with her as I was going to raise a complaint via customer relations. Whilst I was in queue on telephone for customer relations dept funny enough I got the documents through from her with all discrepancies amended!!!! Funny that?? Anyhow I raised my complaint.. with an advisor named Helen .. she firstly asked me how my daughter was after the accident which showed warmth and empathy. After speaking with Helen at great length about my concern..she carried out her own investigations.. the next day both of my holidays were cancelled with no charges. I was advised the PTC had not followed policies or procedures. I was more than happy with this outcome. So much so I phoned a local branch the next morning and rebooked one of the holidays. Helen restored my faith in Hays. I also sent an email to management of customer relations to ask if Helen could be recognised for her outstanding customer care. I would 100% not use the individual below. But as stated I am willing to not let this horrible experience with one person under the Hays “umbrella”.. spoil it for the other professional advents and advisors out there .
