The most disappointing experience…
The most disappointing experience booking a family holiday at Metrocentre branch (upstairs near Boots). So many failures throughout the booking, and to top it off the manager promised a call to explain why there was so many failings- I am still waiting for this call weeks later. So disappointed with the experience from start to finish and I will never use this branch again.

Needs improvement
Liked - I found a holiday, booked seats etc.
Disliked - Finding out at the end after the sales rep had "finalised" everything that there was 2 deposits to pay and I had no way of paying how I wanted. At no point up to this point was it mentioned that I would need to pay 2 deposits.

Hi Dominic,
Thank you for your review and for highlighting an area for imporvement. A number of suppliers offer low deposits at the time of booking with a futher top up amount needed within 8 weeks to cover the cost of the full deposit. Unfortunatly the only way around the second top up payment is to either pay monthly or pay full deposit at the time of booking.
I apologise that this was not covered clearly before confirming the holiday. We will ensure the full team are clear and transparent regarding low deposits earlier in the booking process.
I understand a free cancellation was offered due to the miscommunication, in an effort to resolve the misunderstanding. Should you need any further help, please feel free to call the branch on 0191 4329265.

Booked a holiday to Mijas at Hays in the Metrocentre. Richie was brilliant from start to finish. He asked what kind of holiday we were looking for and really listened. He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and just very nice. He sorted out bookings, seats and travel insurance very efficiently. He is an absolute credit to Hays. Hang on to him! He is a credit to the company.

Very efficient
Very efficient, knew what she was doing and explained everything to us very well.
She also looked for our oceans number which we didn't know about and as we have been with Fred Olsen three times, we had a discount of 5%.
