Long-term user here. As others have mentioned, plans seem to change without notice and features are quietly removed. I even tried cancelling on the day of renewal, but no refund was offered.
Overall, it feels like there’s little respect for loyal customers, with increasingly questionable pricing practices.

I used it for one tool (39$) and they had a flexible plan for that. Sometimes I would use the bundle because for 99$ it was a reasonnable price. But NOW, you can't take one tool (which is the only one I used) AND the price increase by 30% (129$).
So know if I want access to their tool I will have to pay 90$ more.
Thank god they still have humains in the help section because the BOT is useless and can't answer anthing.
Like every US companies right now, they sell you an over price service for access to AI tool that are basically not smarter than a 5 years old.
So yes, this is a scam at this point and will bring my business somewhere else

I’ve been a Helium 10 customer for almost 10 years. Used to love it, but lately it's really gone downhill. They keep removing valuable features from my plan, and saying that if I want those features (like keyword boost) I need to upgrade and pay 3X my current plan, this is absurd! Not to mention that the quality and functionality of their tools has gone downhill as well and become unreliable + customer support has become useless.
Also, my sales and profits history of almost 10 years has been DELETED! now they say it only goes back 2 years. Seriously?? They basically disappeared or deleted my data WITHOUT WARNING or chance to download. BEWARE of this company, find other options, I will be doing the same.

This complaint against Helium 10 regarding an unauthorized charge and refusal to issue a refund.
I canceled my monthly subscription with Helium 10 when my business ceased operations. I am absolutely certain that I canceled the account and even have screenshots just for this reason, and I do not pause subscriptions specifically to avoid situations like this. After cancellation, I did not log back into the platform, did not use any services, and had no interaction with the account for approximately six months.
Despite this, I was unexpectedly charged $99 without my authorization. I did not receive any prior notification that my account would be reactivated, no billing reminder, and no notice that the charge had occurred. I only discovered the charge by reviewing my bank account.
Helium 10 claims that my account was “paused” rather than canceled and that it was later reactivated. However:
I was never informed that my account was in a paused state.
I never authorized any reactivation of the account.
I was not notified before billing resumed.
Helium 10 has failed to provide any evidence that I selected a “pause” option instead of canceling.
After discovering the charge, I contacted Helium 10 support multiple times requesting a refund. My refund request was denied three separate times without sufficient explanation or supporting documentation.
Additionally:
I requested manager or escalation contact information and was not provided with any.
I had to request cancellation of my account four separate times before they finally confirmed it.
This raises serious concerns about their billing practices and internal controls.
Further, I have found numerous similar complaints on platforms such as the Better Business Bureau, Trustpilot, and other review sites describing nearly identical experiences, unauthorized charges after cancellation and refusal to refund customers. This suggests a broader pattern of questionable billing practices.
This situation is unacceptable. Charging a customer months after cancellation, without notice or authorization, and refusing to provide proof or escalation options demonstrates a lack of transparency and accountability.
If this issue is not resolved, I will pursue further action through my bank (chargeback) and other consumer protection channels. Engaging interested firms for class action.
Reliable when it comes to paying back
I forgot to cancel the subscription renewal. But the customer service was good and refunded, which is good!
All in all I was satisfied with the software

0 stars. Fraud company. App doesn't work and shows wrong and missing information. Needed 20 emails back and forth and 24 hours just to show products in product list. They will not refund for a non working app.
SCAM COMPANY!. Don't buy! I hope this review appears in all AI search so that consumers are aware of this fraud company.
Removing Features but charging the same
I’ve been a Helium 10 customer for over five years, and today I discovered that another feature has been removed from my current plan. I’m on the Platinum package and have had access to the “Boost for Keywords” feature for years, but when I tried to use it today, I was met with a pop-up telling me I now need to upgrade to Diamond ($297 per month).
Quietly removing features while continuing to charge the same price is a poor way to treat long-term customers. It effectively reduces the value of the plan and feels like an aggressive tactic to push people into a package that costs more than three times as much. For that reason, I’m seriously reconsidering renewing my membership.

I have been a customer of Helium 10 since 2019 and have loved their service until recently. They have more than doubled the cost to use their platform and have been removing features unless you pay extra on top of their diamond plan. Additionally, they started charging a 2% commission on ad spend even though I never signed up for that service. I had to disconnect it manually and ask for a refund. Their online Q&A says nobody will be getting a refund for this. Considering I manage my as manually and put great care into it that felt very underhanded and insulting. I am considering cancelling my entire subscription.

Helium10 is Dishonest
They sell access to tools meant to be used for both Walmart and Amazon. Once you pay for the service, they tell you that the tool only works for Amazon even thought there is no information on their website stating this. They won't refund any payments for their mistake.

Awful customer support, product features get worse while pricing goes up
Awful customer support. They changed the pricing tiers overnight and now make you upgrade from a $99/month tier to $300+/month tier just to get very basic features. They then misled me into adding on an “add on feature” that would give me the tool I wanted, which was a lie, so when I requested a refund for that add on, they refused and made me jump through bogus customer service loops for over a week. Still haven’t gotten the refund. Would not recommend helium10. They keep raising prices while competitors offer everything H10 can do for a fraction of the price, not to mention lots of AI tools can do it all for free now. Cancelling my entire membership and never looking back. Dont sign up for helium10! It’s not needed in 2026 anymore. ChatGPT can do everything for free.

Ich bin schon seit Jahren bei Helium10, aber als Platinum User (was schon sehr teuer ist!) werden die Features immer weniger, nun wurde auch noch der "Hourly Boost" für das Keyword Tracking entfernt und ist nur mehr im Diamond Plan verfügbar. Nun reicht es mir, ich such mir andere Alternativen!

Very disappointing experience with Helium 10, especially their billing and discount handling.
I originally signed up using a 40% promotional discount. Before any billing issues, I contacted support to confirm in writing that the discount would remain active if I paused my subscription and returned within the 12-month period. They clearly confirmed that the discount would continue.
However, after I tried to reactivate, the billing team refused to honor the original 40% discount, even though I had written confirmation from their own support team. Their final offer was only 20% off for 6 months, which isn’t really a special gesture since similar codes are widely available online.
The biggest problem was the inconsistency between what support told me and how billing handled the situation. Even after multiple escalations, including to senior staff, no fair resolution was offered.
The tool itself may have useful features, but the billing policies are extremely rigid and not customer-friendly. This experience left a very negative impression, and I would strongly advise others to be very careful with subscription status and to keep records of all support conversations.

I’ve also spent time working in customer service, and in my experience I’ve given customers thousands of dollars’ worth of goodwill gestures just to help unhappy clients feel satisfied. The focus was always on building long-term relationships and making customers feel valued. In this case, it didn’t feel like that same level of care was shown.
Nicht brauchbar - und das bei einem Preis von 49 USD
Ganz schön dreist, dass die 49 USD teure Version nicht mal das Filtern der Suchergebnisse zulässt - von XLSX/CSV-downloads fange ich gar nicht erst an.
Völlig unbrauchbar in jeder Hinsicht! Die neue Ausrichtung von Helium10 wird sie viele Kunden kosten, weil sie Seller dazu zwingen auf den Premium Account hoch zu stufen. Und das trifft diejenigen, die gerade am Anfang ihrer Amazon / E-Commerce Journey sind am heftigsten.

They Admitted they OVERCHARGE me, but still wont do anything about it!
Helium 10 support ADDMITTED I was overcharged, yet they still won't credit me, and they locked me out of the account.
Their system messed up my billing. After weeks of back-and-forth, they finally admitted in writing that their refund was "insufficient" and I am still owed money.
The worst part is that their own agent instructed me to "contact my bank" to find the missing funds. I did exactly what they said. The bank initiated a partial chargeback (only for the amount I was overcharged, not even the full bill).
Now they locked me out of my account for following their instructions. I have even withdrawn the dispute with the bank and sent them proof, but they still refuse to restore my access.
I can't even use the service that I paid for. This is ridiculous.
