The car we rented had mechanical issues…
The car we rented had mechanical issues and we couldn’t use it. Someone had damaged in the past and used zip ties to try and
Rescue the skid plate on the bottom of the car. As soon as we took off the zip ties broke
Off and the skid plates started flapping so loudly there was no way we could use it. The person we spoke to on the emergency number was very nice and helpful. Even sent a tow truck to get the car because she new we were leaving on a trip and the rental car issue put us way behind schedule.

Quick easy transaction
Employee at the desk was very friendly and informative. Transaction was fast. There was a problem with my Gold membership, which he pointed out and showed me how to fix. Only small issue I had was the outside of the car was pretty dirty when I got it. I believe at the time, he was the only one there and didn't have anyone to wash the car.

Staff was great the process was fast and easy. I recommend making your reservation for any of your rental needs.

We were overcharged due to not having the vehicle they had in stock online
We were charged more for the car due to hertz not having a mid size sa
Sedan that we reserved. We were told We could cancel and go to another car rental place because the employees didnt want to upgrade us to the car they chose that was $18 more and was not our fault. They said other people reserved the same type of care before us online. If its online thats not the customers fault. They said we were supposed to call you to let you know the car wasn't going to be there until later that day and forgot to call.
The car was dirty also, fingerprints all in the inside and visible dirt on the outside.
The car kept saying to stop and take a coffee break also which was annoying.
Hertz makes a lot of rules that the employees have to follow, but this one is one that should not have happened. If the place doesn't have your car you reserved, they upgrade for free. This is the 2nd or 3rd issue i have had with hertz, will be the last.
