Having a whole scan of car when leaving rental center and then upon returning.

Choice of cars in Presidents circle was terrible. Like 10 mini vans, small Kias. I got a Chevy Trax. Kids car.

The Jeep we were assigned lost power and the engine light came on while driving on I-79 in West Virginia. Two calls to Hertz Roadside Assistance were met with apathy by the agents. They cited protocol and advised the best option was to drive the vehicle two hours back to Pittsburgh. Great... a vehicle struggling with power and I'm supposed to drive it on busy highways. How is that a safe option? In short, Hertz is good until you need help. Then roadside assistance is uncaring and unhelpful so far as I am concerned. I have been a President's Circle member but, Hertz is benched for my future rentals.

It was great that the car was ready when we arrived at the airport. It took only minutes from the point of arrival to the airport to locating the Hertz terminal to proceed to our designated car.

Fast and efficient

easy overall. straight to car on pick up and return took about 3 minutes.

Everything was fine. Selection of fun options in the president's circle was pretty limited. Easy check in and out.

I paid for a large SUV, but when picking up the car, I was directed to choose any vehicle in the "president circle". There were no large SUVs left, so I chose a minivan. The van reeked of cigarette smoke. We returned the van the next day as it was making my family sick. There were still no SUVs left and we had to squeeze my family and luggage into a sedan. No reduction in the cost of the rental was offered.

Will use Hertz again.

Got to pick the car most appropriate for me, without any hassle.

I walked out to the President Circle area and my SUV was not there...so I went to the counter person and she told me that it would be 10-15 minutes before the SUV was ready...I waited the 15 minutes...went back to the counter person and she told me the SUV was still not ready and asked me if I would take another type of SUV, since she did not know when my SUV would be ready...did not offer me an upgrade...just another SUV which I think was a lower class than I paid for.

Bypassing the counter is a great benefit. The selection of cars in the President Circle was pitiful. High milage basic cars. Used to finding some good vehicles...not in Pittsburgh.

No cars in the presidential circle area

Sending an email claiming I caused damage then not respond to my denial. Horrible customer service. Dispute of Damage Claim – Rental Record #9151728** The damage claim associated with Rental Record #9151728**. I have been accused of causing damage to the vehicle's front headlight, which I strongly dispute. Upon receiving the claim, I immediately denied responsibility and requested the AI-generated, time-stamped inspection photos from both vehicle pickup and return. To date, I have not received a response or the documentation requested. Based on my recollection and the condition of the vehicle at return, there was no damage present when I completed the rental. I have spent the last two days attempting to reach someone through Customer Service at 1-877-584-7159, including more than one hour of hold time combined before being forced to disconnect after waiting over 30 minutes on each occasion. Additionally, the photograph provided with the claim does not appear to be from the AI inspection process that was used during my rental experience. Given the seriousness of this accusation, I am extremely concerned by the lack of communication and the inability to obtain supporting evidence or discuss the matter with a representative. I respectfully request a prompt review of this claim and immediate access to the AI-generated, time-stamped inspection records from both the vehicle pickup and return. I would also appreciate direct contact from a representative who can address this matter and explain the basis for the claim. My one star is based off of scaring me and then not telling me what is going on. You make claims you will charge me for the damage if my claim is denied but then don't respond for days. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this issue.

It was quick and easy to pick up and to drop off the vehicle. The people working for Hertz were knowledgeable and helpful.

Everything went really smooth, attendants were available at each stage of the process.

Expected vehicle type, expected cost

Customer service was sufficient, but noticeably unhappy that we didn't accept the first vehicle offered as it was dirty on the inside and out.

There seemed to be a lot of hustling about the parking garage on phones/radios, which gave us the impression that preparedness was lacking.

The second one offered after 35-40-minute wait was the correct type, but the interior was not clean and smelled of body odor and cigarette smoke. The vehicle only had 10K miles on it.

Hertz gold membership made it incredibly easy to manage my reservation and pick up/ drop off the car. Highly recommend

My review reflect on Hertz as whole and not just one location or their staff at PIT location

Quality has significantly gone down, 7 years of presidential circle every time I rent with hertz cars are getting worst.
As of my last rental few days ago, all cars within presidential circle is equivalent or worst than what used to be in gold section about year ago!

Smelly/crusty cars, high mileage, basic cars and some with dysfunctional tech within such as damaged USB ports.

Last visit, base Toyota Corolla was the best available, despite booking large sedan.
