Staff at HMV Banbury - Excellent Service
I received excellent service from Staff working at HMV Banbury, when ordering CD's for a Christmas present. Staff were friendly, polite, efficient and the CD's arrived in good time despite it being so close to Christmas. Thank you for an excellent service.

Banbury store and parcel help
Went into the Banbury store as Royal Mail sent me an empty parcel in a “sorry it’s reached you in this state bag”, they explained they couldn’t do anything from store but quickly started looking up contact details for me. The lovely girl worker then actually called from store to customer service and explained the situation. The office worker processed my refund straight away and it was in my account within a couple of hours. Really happy with their service as always, love HMV especially the Banbury one- the employees there are always so helpful!

Whilst shopping in Banbury popped into…
Whilst shopping in Banbury popped into HMV store to purchase a particular dvd Whilst looking one of the assistants came to assist. She then checked on the stores computer only to find it was out of stock. However it could be ordered, I explained I did not live in Banbury but the assistant informed me it could be delivered to my local store. DVd was delivered to my local HMV store within 2 days. Excellent service

Did not know what I was looking for…
Did not know what I was looking for with CDs. We’re very helpful and patient. Had ordered with Amazon and they lost them kept saying they had been delivered but not to me. Was mailed by HMV telling me when had been sent out and when at shop in Banbury and I just collected

Today I went into the Banbury HMV store…
Today I went into the Banbury HMV store to buy a record player and vinyl record and the manager in the was absolutely lovely and amazing talking to me about the deals as well.
I’m definitely going back there to buy some vinyl records there

Good branch experience, fairly poor web site.
On the positive side, customer service in the branch was very good.
On the negative side, the HMV web site needs further development to:
1) Integrate payment using HMV gift vouchers.
2) Enable customers to browse items, see what is available on-line, and/or in stock in the branches, then order for delivery, or reserve stock for collection from the branch.
Branches can't be expected to stock the rarer items.
I'm not expecting an Amazon web site or prices, just a useable web site to support the branch operations.
