hmv (UK) - Leicester Reviews 

Unfortunately when you order from the sale the website is rubbish.
Clunky and keeps freezing and when you get to the checkout you can’t pay as something in your basket has sold out.
It doesn’t tell you to what items are sold out so a few minutes turn in to half an hour.
Items delivered next day from dispatch which is excellent.
Visited the store yesterday and the experience wasn’t good, Leicester store used to have excellent knowledgeable staff but now it’s students behind the till. Served today by Charlie p who was unhelpful and argumentative and had zero interest in music.

I ordered a pre-issue vinyl for collection in-store.
It arrived whilst I was on holiday.
I found it both difficult and annoying that I had to contact head office to advise that my collection date would be late. The policy of HMV to only keep orders for two weeks is very restrictive.
However, suitable arrangements were made and I successfully collected my order some weeks later.

Had what I came in for. Thought I'd ask and see if they had something else, they didn't, but I know what I asked for sells out fast, so it's no biggie. Staff were good. Prices weren't bad.

Item came quickly to the store and staff were helpful and friendly.

Excellent service from helping a disabled person to finding the item wanted, ordering it and then receiving confirmation that it was in store. To which it was picked up with ease. Staff were knowledgeable and took time to listen and to other questions, which were fully answered. The only issue I had, which was not with the staff, is that it would be helpful in the Leicester store if there was a button of some sort for a person with a disability to be able to push to get assistance when entering the store. The staff were brilliant from start to finish.

Quick delivery to the store of very limited 4k - I work in the city centre so it's much more convenient for me to collect it from the store. The staff member who placed the order was very helpful. Very happy!

I was very happy with HMV with my vinyl how it was packaged its not hmv fault lot of people have had problems with playing the vinyl it skipps on side one track one near the beginning until u have to buy a record cleaner to stop it skipping but my vinyl is ok now 🙂

Great quality and amazing service

The assistant who I placed the order for the CD for my niece’s birthday with was very helpful and explained the online reservation process. They also let me know that I would need to collect from downstairs when it had arrived. On collection, the assistant was again helpful and I was able to open the package and leave the cardboard at the store for recycling. I hadn’t realised that the CD would be individually packed.
Both staff were helpful and polite and the system worked easily as I received email updates so after it had been delivered I was able to collect on my next day working in the office. A good, simple and effective service.

Nige , Took time out to See when the cds i had enquired about were to be released. Turns out it was over 2 months ago.But Store hadn't received any of the 2 cds .Promptly Ordered. When receipt machine chewed receipt. Nige sort out Lee.Who came and Sorted all out for me .Usual 5 star service. No panic just very Efficient.
