The young assistant was friendly and very helpful, definitely worth a raise. My interest is early 2000s americana music such as Calexico etc. I know it's not stocked widely, but I'll keep looking.

Rude
So I think that the delivery to store process is great. I just take issue with the Newcastle HMV staff. Everyone I have engaged with is rude, unhelpful, and sometimes act like they don’t even want to be there. I get it. Work can suck. But like at least try? I think the only helpful staff actually are the women but most of the men…woof. So rude.

Help with finding an item
The staff member was very helpful in ordering an item which was not in stock. They did the ordering for me and explained clearly when it was likely to be in store and how to collect it.

Relatively easy to collect the item I…
Relatively easy to collect the item I ordered. Staff were barely visible and half way through the collection they had to focus on the shoplifting that was happening. It was pretty dire that paying customers are left or ignored so they can all corner a disabled person stealing. It was not somewhere I will go again. Home delivery in future.
