We genuinely could not have chosen a more perfect venue than Holmewood Hall. From the moment we booked, Lee and the entire team were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond in every possible way.

Planning a wedding can be stressful enough, but we also had some difficult family situations and emotions surrounding the day. The team handled everything so professionally, discreetly and compassionately, and made us feel completely supported throughout. Knowing they were on top of everything allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about problems behind the scenes.

On the day itself, they were honestly unreal. Every single piece of décor was set up perfectly without me needing to explain things over and over or stress about changing anything. They completely understood the vision and brought everything together beautifully. The whole day ran so smoothly because they were constantly one step ahead, guiding us where we needed to be, checking in on us and making sure everything stayed on track without ever making it feel rushed or overwhelming.

But more than that, they were the biggest hype team ever. They celebrated with us, calmed nerves, made us laugh and genuinely cared about making the day special. You can tell this isn’t “just a job” to them. Every member of staff made us feel so looked after and loved, and so many of our guests commented on how amazing the venue and staff were.

What an utterly beautiful place. I was part of a Murder Mystery evening and the experience was 5 star plus! The ambiance was magical, the food was excellent, especially the cheesecake, and the staff were extremely polite and attentive. I would definitely go again and recommend highly.

We absolutely LOVED our experience!
From the moment we arrived at the venue to the (very sad) moment we had to leave, every member of staff was exceptionally helpful, polite, and professional—whether they were directly attending to us or simply passing us in the hallway.
I want to especially commend the housekeeping team for their efficiency in turning around the rooms and checking us in before 12:00. Their friendliness and attention to detail were remarkable. They responded immediately when we requested an iron, which they kindly left with us for the duration of our stay. The cleanliness and overall standard of the room were excellent.
During the event, the food and drink service was impeccable—particularly at dinner. Despite everyone ordering different dishes, the team served everything with seamless coordination and professionalism. We were consistently asked if we’d like more to drink, so we never had to go looking for anyone—we were thoroughly looked after.
The venue itself is exquisite. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay for the entire weekend! We would have loved more time to enjoy everything it has to offer, and we’d absolutely consider returning for another event. In fact, I know the bride has already booked tickets for an upcoming ball there!
A special thank you to Laura, the wedding planner—she was fantastic. Extremely polite, professional, and clearly excellent at what she does. The event was flawlessly run.
I would like to make a special mention to Michaela who truly stood out to all of us. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. She patiently answered our endless questions and requests (including sourcing a walking stick for my father-in-law), gave me a personal tour of the venue, and invited us to use the various areas to enhance our experience. Michaela showed particular care for my father-in-law’s mobility challenges, continually offering thoughtful assistance—from suggesting the best spots for group photos, to advising on rest areas, and even helping him choose a comfortable dining seat.
Her passion for guest experience was evident and deeply appreciated. Michaela, along with the rest of your fantastic team, truly exceeded all of our expectations.

Our Christmas wedding was the most amazing experience ever. I cannot recommend this venue enough! From the ceremony in the fabulous gold room, the wedding breakfast with gorgeous food and the lovely rooms for our guests and us to stay in overnight. The staff went above and beyond to create the perfect day for us. Our personal wedding manager Jenna was amazing throughout and we can't thank her enough. We visited for the date night.
It was a Beautiful stay at this amazing place, great grands, lovely rooms, food was wonderful, the staff showed a real team effort and couldn’t have been more helpful & kind.

As wedding photographers, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to capture memories at Holmewood Hall. This Tudor mansion is nestled away in the idyllic countryside of Cambridgeshire, providing a stunning backdrop for photographs. The beauty of the exterior of the mansion is just as impressive in the summer or winter, making it the perfect venue for any season.

The grounds are frequently manicured and surrounded by parkland and gardens, offering stunning lake views and an abundance of greenery. The bandstand provides a unique setting for outdoor ceremonies among the immaculate grounds, while the Gold Room is fully licensed and boasts a 50-foot aisle and an 18-carat gold ceiling for those who prefer an indoor ceremony.

The interior of the mansion is equally impressive with character features and intricate period pieces, including twenty luxury rooms that have recently been renovated. The bride and groom were able to enjoy the grand and comfortable Renaissance honeymoon suite.

The in-house chefs impressed the 77 guests with their culinary creations, and the Vault provided the perfect place for guests to dance the night away. Holmewood Hall was the perfect Tudor Manor to host the wedding and we would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a stunning and unique venue for their special day.
