Homebase - High Wycombe Reviews 

Nobody on the Click and collect counter. Waited for a while. As still unattended I went to the 1 till that was open and pointed out the problem. Since the counter was in clear view of the till it should not have been any surprise. Went back to the counter to wait. After a while someone arrived. It turned out that only part of my order was waiting on a trolley, for 3 bags of compost I was advised to collect them myself from an area in the car park. The bags were soaking wet and dirty and extra heavy due to being outside in the wet. I should send you the bill to clean the inside of my car boot. I dont think I will be using this 'service' again and that probably means I won't be shopping in homebase in the future

Easy ordering and very friendly service at High Wycombe store.

Super helpful, replaced some items quickly and easily as they had been slightly damaged possibly while on display. Helpful staff.

Zero actually. Ordered an item. Something completely different came to the store. Then a new order was cancelled when I tried to reorder the actual item. What a mess

The two guys on the collection desk were excellent. Had a few jokes and laughs with them making the experience very relaxed and fun. Extra help was offered and given. This kind of experience is unfortunately still quite rare so great to see this attitude in Homebase

On arrival the product was severely damaged yet still handed over and we were expected to take it. Customer service was awful, I’ll await a full refund

On their website it states that they offer a wood cutting service to enable customers to fit larger pieces of sheet materials in their car. I drove past three other DIY stores to get to this store only to find out that they don’t offer this service. I ended up buying smaller prices of timber for more money. The worst thing about this is the staff tell me that the service has not been available for more than 6 months. They also told me that it was not on the website.

The operator at the till was so rude. He didn’t greet us at the till, he didn’t give any eye contact, scanned the items then just handed over the receipt. As we were leaving he started talking to the other till operator opposite him.

Pricing in store is a disaster.
I would have bought more items if I could have known the prices. Much of the stock had no price indication so buying is guesswork.
For the purchase I did make, the price at the till was different to that on the shelf. Happily it was less than indicated but, I might have bought more had I known!

I was delighted to be offered a better BBQ than the one I had ordered as it had been damaged. All the staff were great and helped us load it into the car.

As promised advised by text when ready for collection (earlier than expected) … greeted with a smile … items swiftly brought through … help willingly given to load into car … altogether a good customer service experience … absolutely makes me want to keep coming back 👍
