"Family Owned" Nightmare
HRI has turned the "family owned business" platitude into a red flag.
Here's the "family owned" experience you can look forward to at HRI:
Primary owner took referrals from us for years and never paid us as he agreed to ($300 per). Never gave us a single discount for our help (or referrals he took for free).
Owner's wife lied about warranty work. Stated we didn't pay for replacement parts. We still have the invoices for the parts she charged us for. We kept screenshots of her telling us she never charged us as proof because HRI keeps lying.
Owner daughter repeatedly tried to increase the price of storage for our machines. This was in direct contradiction to what the Owner stated was the monthly price per machine stored.
Owners wife and daughter placed the blame on us for their machine that repeatedly kept freezing and exploding cases of drinks. We paid for a service call to fix the issue which was NOT fixed. Same issue persisted until we had to junk the machine. We requested a service call (again) which the wife and daughter of the owner refused.
After collecting five figures of profit from us over the years, Owner's wife told us to find a service provider after they stiffed us with their junk machines.
Owners son openly mocked our religion. He also mocked our vending business (we bought our first machine in 1991).
Not surprisingly the Owner's son is in forfeiture for owing six figures on his property. This is all public record. This is the "man" taking over the "family business."
This is the sad future (and soon demise) of HRI.
In summary, these folks have a serious issue telling the truth. Being in business for over 30 years means absolutely nothing when you have no competition in the area.
The only thing breaking faster than HRI's word and machines is their reputation.
We are warning you to NOT use them. You will regret it.
