Saw an AC unit in stock. Called HSD online and spoke to someone confirming the item was in stock. Placed an order for around £400. At 5pm see I’ve had an email(went to my spam) saying order cancelled due to security concern. Refund held by bank over the weekend until Wed morning.

I can now see someone else on here had the same thing happen to them. 1* for a nonsense excuse(have had thousands of online purchases, security concern sounds like absolute made up junk), being told it’s in stock when it isn’t, not given a phone call to tell me order was unsuccessful and being out of pocket £400 for 5 days( 3 working days) during a heat wave when I’d want to use that money to buy an AC.

Will not trust again even though it appears most of their other reviews seem positive.

Even reached out asking for a reasonable explanation other than security concerns and was given the “as previously stated” and told the same nonsense.

Always provide a top class service but that doesn't stop their courier DHL providing a terrible one. See previous review

I purchased an AC unit and they cancelled due to a ‘security reason’. If my order is cancelled the least they could do is give me a valid reason and not a rubbish excuse. Doing this in a middle of a heatwave is beyond disappointing to be honest. Not to be trusted

I had an item in my basket, went to get my payment card, came back and they had removed it from my basket. The item was then listed as ‘sold out’.

Really poor UX and awful purchasing system if it can’t even reserve an item and give you 2 minutes to make a payment.

Spot on. No issues. Products were delivered on the stated date. Good company to deal with.

Simple: I ordered the products and they did the rest. They informed me of my order and included the date in which it would arrive. Then gave me a way to track my parcel if desired and it arrived just as they stated. A great service.

i bought a water pump i managed to break part of it on the first use
contacted company and they sent me 2 of the parts that i required 1 to use and 1 as a spare
all free of charge
you cant get better than that

Not the sprayer that was advertised sent out, straps far to short. Not enough adjustment.

Everthink went well part order was damaged in transit was replacedvery promtly good service.

They sold me an air cooler that made my room so hot I ended up choking!!
It blows out a small amount of cold air but the machine itself whilst plugged in increases the room temperature.
I contacted them to arrange a return, but they sent me a return address. How exactly am I supposed to return a large, bulky air cooler? They should be arranging collection of the item, not expecting me to transport it myself.

I ordered an upright tower fan to help me cope with this current spell of very hot weather. The fan arrived damaged and with missing parts. There was no base provided to attach it to in order to stand it up and a plastic pin on the underside of the fan was broken off. The fan was therefore unusable. Customer support was good in that they have offered me a new fan or a refund. The new fan will arrive just when the weather cools!!! I will update on the product when they send me one that works.
Update - well done to Customer Support Services. Thank you. This time they sent me a new working fan and all the necessary parts.
The Mylek 34 inch tower fan is really good. It blows cool air at a decent force, is not too noisy, and other than the flimsy plastic base plate stand it seems well built.

Easy to order online. Good delivery service with good communication throughout. I have bought this product before but this company offers it at the best price.
