Irish Sports Warehouse Reviews 

We bought a Body Train ES-7021 Racing Studio Style Exercise Bike in July 2020. Quick enough delivery and easy enough to assemble although the display never worked. Then, on the 14th October the resistance gave up. So, after three months, the bike I got from Irish Sports Warehouse no longer held any resistance and no longer worked. I emailed the company to explain the problem.

They said: I can send out a replacement Tension Rod. This will cure the issue. Over time, as you use the bike, the tension does go. This is normal. Would you like me to send out a replacement Rod? I can also send out instructions on how to fit it. Kind regards.

Over time the tension goes? As in three months from the date of purchase? Be warned, you will have to replace this part every so often. The tension rod was sent to my house two weeks later with no instructions. I managed to fit the new tension rod but still this did not solve the problem. On the 30th October 2020, I explained this to their customer service and asked for a refund.

They said: Hello, In order for me to refund you, I must collect the bike from you. Do you have the packaging for the item so that the courier can collect? If you could just send an image of the item so that I can verify it is sufficiently packaged, I can then book this in for you. I apologise for the inconvenience. Kind regards.

Looks like I was getting a refund and they were sending out a courier to collect. On the 10th November 2020, I emailed them and told them the bike was ready for collection. I had disassembled the bike, bubble wrapped all parts. I even bought a cardboard box specifically for shipping a bike – more fool me. I sent them on a picture. I had done everything they asked.

Their reply came two days later. They said: We have been advised by the courier that there is a delay regarding collections. We apologise for this, but it is out of our control. Rest assured, you have not been forgotten about and your item will be collected at the earliest opportunity. The courier will be in touch with you to arrange the collection in the coming days. Kind regards.

It seems I had ‘been forgotten about’ because a week later and still there was no update from either Irish Sports Warehouse or the courier. I emailed Irish Sports Warehouse on the 19th November 2020, and asked them for an update in relation to the courier.

They replied on the same day and said: I have been informed by the collections department that your order cannot be collected for a refund, as you have owned and used the item for a considerable amount of time. Therefore, you have had use out of it. We can collect to repair, I can also send out any spare parts you require. Kind regards.

Hmm it seems their refund policy has changed overnight. I was no longer getting a refund because I had used the bike for three months - a considerable amount of time - according to Irish Sports Warehouse. But they were going to collect the bike and repair it. Were they really – going to COLLECT it, REPAIR it, and then COURIER it back to me? Not likely. Anyway, I responded to their email the same day and told them to collect the bike. We wanted it out of our hallway asap.

Their reply: Hello, The collections team will ensure that this item is collected in a timely manner, the collection will be booked shortly. Kind regards.

Their reply was completely short on details. No time given. No date given. Heads we collect it this month, tails we collect it never.
My reply: I expect the bike to be collected from my house by Wednesday 25th November 2020. That is a week and that is a timely manner. Kind regards.

I emailed them on Friday 20th November to remind them of the correct address. Their reply: Hello, Not a problem, my colleague will book that today for you. Kind regards.

DELAY and LIE seem to be their customer service motto. It’s the 1st of December now, and the bike has been sitting boxed up in our hallway for over three weeks. They are NEVER going to collect, never mind repair it and courier it back to me.

I spent €249.99 on an exercise bike that worked for three months. I wasted money and time dealing with this company. Please Please Please do not spend your money purchasing equipment from Irish Sports Warehouse.

Please stay clear of this company, I bought a treadmill from them for 600 and when I recieved it, it was badly damaged so i contacted them to say i wanted a refund and a collection arranged on the damaged treadmill, i am getting the run around by this company they told me a courier would contact me about collection but its nearly a week now and nothing, i have contacted them every day and they are not replying i have asked them to ring me to discuss but nothing from them they are a bad company to deal with so stay well clear, i now have a job of fighting to get my refund back and for them to collect the damaged treadmill, i am so so annoyed. Finally got the treadmill collected after chasing up calls myself but now still waiting on my refund and it's over 6 days now said I would have with in 5 days, and this lie about phone line not working due to covid is bull. There customer service is disgraceful dont know how they are still in business to be honest.

I honestly can't express how bad this company are. I ordered an exercise bike in March. Delivery was quick. When we made the bike up the handle bars did not lock, they move when you lean on them! The digital display did not work as there was just wires.
Then I realised that the bike I'd been send was actually a bike worth £100 less than the one I ordered, lesser value bike with a scan sticker on the box, matching the barcode of the more expensive bike I paid for . So wrong bike of lower value and 2 faults that deemed it unusable.

Many many many emails later I've received no refund and the bike is still taking up space in my kitchen dispite being told it would be collect and refund issued multiple times.

I've seen mixed reviews and I think if the item is as described and actually received, your ok but any fault you will not get much from customer service !

Ordered a portable Massage Table early Oct 2020. It arrived 6 days later, opened the package and it had stain marks all over it (looked like burn marks) & the marks don't come off. There were loose staples inside and marks on the underside of the table.
I contacted the company via phone immediately & they offered to send a replacement & would do a swap of the item. I then followed up via email and had to send a picture of the damage. I had to follow up again via pH & email, was later advised via email that they needed the product repacked & a photo of the repackaged item. I did all of this.
The new item was confirmed as shipped the next day, & this is where it all went horribly wrong & the lies began. I had several emails from Irish Sports Warehouse confirming the item had been re-ordered & had left there warehouse & had been shipped, I was given a FAKE tracking number, both on my log in account and via email.
4 days later I received a generic email telling me the item was out of stock, (not sure how it is possible after getting several emails to confirm it had already left their warehouse). I called them again & was given a completely different tracking number via phone, which showed the item had been picked up, (so this confirmed to me that they gave me a fake number to begin with)
I spoke with a girl there & she said she would contact the courier to see where the item was & would phone me back, as apparently sometimes items get lost with the courier. She did not call me back. I got an email later that day 'again' saying the item was out of stock!!
They will tell you lies and a different story every time you call them. I asked for an explanation & to be contacted by a supervisor or manager, & to please have the Issue resolved, they ignored all of this. They don't read or reply to emails & leave you hanging.
I got a guy the next day on the phone who told me that items dispatched are not necessarily dispatched... So he was to check the stock in the warehouse and take care of the swap asap, again this did not happen. After this conversation I sent another email so as to have everything in writing & I was completely ignored for 1 week. The only reply I received, was a generic email telling me that the item will be picked up & once it is inspected by the courier I will get a refund immediately. Couriers pick up & drop off, so this is another lie. Courier has not contacted me and its been a further 2 weeks now. I cannot get hold of anyone in the company thus far.
It's has now been over a month and nothing has been resolved. They will promise lots of things and do nothing and ignore you.
This company will take your money, send you faulty goods & will not replace or refund you, they will ignore your emails. They will not put you through to any supervisor or Manager, nor get anyone to contact you for a resolve. They will run you around in circles until you go away. Please do not waste your money with them. Their products are cheap for a reason, faulty and they don't care about their customers. Whilst there is a pretence the phone conversations are polite, they will not back up anything they say they will do.
They are a company registered in the UK as "RCD Retail Ltd" (Trade register number is 05050082)
In Ireland they list their name as Irish Sports Warehouse.
I am now in the process of making an official complaint regarding this company to authorities both in Ireland and in the UK. I have never had to do anything like this ever in my life & hopefully never again.
It is clear to me that Irish Sports Warehouse have total disregard and disrespect for customers. I only wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I hope this review helps in some way. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Placed order for Spin bike on the 30/10/20. I Received it today 5/11/20 really happy with it and really fast delivery. Will shop again thanks

No Physical Address on google maps, no phone number in use. Alarm bells ringing. Read reviews not good. Not a change I’m spending 500-1000 on equipment. Was looking to use an Irish company but don’t want to deal with this service. Fix yourself before you Wrecked yourself

Having just had a rather delightful conversation with a gentleman who claimed to be customer service ( not ) I am totally disappointed and disgusted with the absolute lack of respect shown to a prospective customer , also when I asked to speak to a manager or any one rather than him , he put me on hold which I might add did not stop me hearing him slag me off and be totally and utterly lacking in any form of customer service

I have had the worst experience with this company. I bought an exercise bike in August 2019, it broke down in March 2020 and the company has been so unhelpful. They have ignored so many emails for weeks on end, when they do reply it’s usually a new person who knows nothing about my issue.
I was finally offered a refund in July but then they stopped replying to emails again until September, despite me emailing almost every day. I was again offered a refund this week and then they changed their mind and said I have had the bike too long now so they won’t refund me. Honestly this company is the absolute worst. If anything goes wrong they just don’t care. Please spend your money somewhere else.

I seem to have been more fortunate than other recent reviewers. I ordered a home gym and it arrived very promptly within one week, all parts were present and accounted for. So, no complaints at all in that regard. Assembly is almost complete, based on clear and easy to follow instructions, albeit that you need to have a reasonably varied tool kit to put it together. The quality of the material is what I would expect for a home gym at the price charged. So, quite satisfied so far. If it changes, I'll be back!

5 stars....I received my set of weights a week after my order was confirmed. After reading all of the negative reviews I was expecting this to be an absolute nightmare, I had nothing to worry about. The service and the 20kg weights were spot on, I don't normally write reviews but I felt if it reasures anyone using their website I'd give it ago.

The worst customer service ever, I got a treadmill which was faulty & is now ready for return but no one has responded to me to say when they will collect it , I want a refund & not a replacement, absolutely feel used by this company & would not recommend them to anyone , very disappointing all round

Bought a treadmill for 400 euro about 2 months ago. Belt was slipping from the off contacted sport's warehouse about 20 different time's they sent one reply saying send picture. Really a picture of a slipping belt ..my god they are an absolute joke sent more emails and still no reply they can't be contacted by phone either...so the new treadmill is sitting idol since I bought it as its dangerous to use absolute joke ..stay away

please please please please never buy off them i bought a golf trolley off them in March when i opened the box the battery was the wrong size battery and it was missing the straps to hold it in place also where u attach the battery the connection was loose and after a few rounds front wheel fell off i asked them to replace the trolley or refund me they refused even though it qas under warranty only 2day have they come back and said if i package it myself at my cost will they take it back and try fix it 6months later i told them to shove it worst companie ever

Ordered a multi gym unit from this company mid July. Initially I only received the frame and was advised to wait for the 2nd package to arrive. The 2nd box never arrived and got absolutely no response from the company. I sent them multiple emails through a variety of their sites and got no response at all. I ended up having to contact my bank to dispute the charges and lo and behold I received an email from the company a week later stating that the package was on the way.
They sent me another frame for the multi gym, which worked out for me as some of the parts in the box were broken and others missing altogether. Avoid this company at all costs. Their customer service is beyond a disgrace. They also mislead people by saying that they're based in Ireland when in fact they're based in the UK.

Avoid this company at all cost! I ordered a trampoline in March, it arrived in July, I completely accept this as a result of Covid they were busy. What happened next is the problem! There were 2 pieces missing and I was told they would be sent out to us, over
A month later and still the parts have not arrived and they will not respond to emails and phone turned off. I never write reviews but so frustrated, the trampoline remains in the box 7 weeks after it arrived, children back to school in less than 2 weeks so purchasing it was an absolute waste of time and money. Customer service with this company is seriously lacking!

Dreadful company to deal with item arrived with 2 parts broken and the bluetooth function not functioning. Refused to respond to emails to resolve the issue. Do not trust them. Also advises themselfs as Irish but in fact are based in the UK

I ordered a BBQ the week before the June bank holiday, so at the end of May. The website said it would be in stock on the day after the b/h Monday. With this being the height of the lockdown, and the bank holiday I expected it might get delayed, but it arrived the Saturday morning after the bank holiday.
Easily assembled and although we've been having crappy weather since, I have managed to use it a few times. No complaints so far.
I was worried after reading a lot of reviews but I haven't a bad thing to say about Irish Sports Warehouse

I was really worried looking at these reviews after ordering a pool from here, but the pool came in perfect condition with all the parts in the box and is great. Came on time too. Would buy from this company again
