We have recently rented a property from Jenkins Property and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The team were extremely helpful, flexible and accommodating. Barbara was especially attentive and went the extra mile to support myself and my family. The property was clean and tidy and the process was easy and seamless even when we needed an extension to stay an extra few weeks there was no hassle and a solution provided. Very grateful to Jenkins Team and would highly recommended, will use again 100%. Thank you!

If you need to sell a house this is the best company around. They are professional give you realistic valuation keep you full informed.
We experienced a nationwide estate agent who had the property on sale for 8 months with very little interest.
We put it to Jenkins they did there stuff on the marketing and with their proactive marketing the property was sold within a month at a higher price than the nationwide agent.
Please if your looking to sell these are the people.to use .

Most disgusting vile service I have ever used. Thieves!. All happy to take your money but will use any trick in the book to take every penny of your deposit. Currently contacting their useless DPS service. No replies or contact. Just hope you will walk away so they can keep your money. Stay away from these vile people. DPS. Citizens advice and local MP letters sent. DISCUSTING!

Well, what can I say.

A cold dark night, M25 blocked as usual around Junction 29/30, with me having driven across to South Ockendon from West London. Nikki was running late; was the property worth all this hassle?

How wrong could I be?

The property was amazing, quirky, solitary, and perfect, this was just the start of the journey though.

Nikki being very personable, professional, and available at any time, moved things forward with expertise, keeping me informed at every turn. She was always good to talk to discuss and provide eventual positive outcomes even when problems arose. Delay after delay occurred for one reason or another until there was light at the end of the tunnel, where she said she would move Heaven and Earth to ensure I was “in” by the start of December.

It is difficult to express the thanks and gratitude I have for Nikki, as much as this review puts her in a positive light, it only scratches the surface of the gratitude I have for all the hard work she put into me getting the property and moving in.

What I can say is that, unlike other estate agents who just require numbers or a bottom line, Jenkins Property and especially Nikki are invested in their clients.

To counter the review below. I would like to say that I have never had a problem with the lettings management at Jenkins and have been a fully managed tenant with them for 3 years.

I have had a few hiccups with previous management but nothing that wasn’t resolved in a timely manner.

I would like to vouch for the the new letting manager Nikki, who has been nothing but accommodating, super informative and always on the end of the phone if I need anything.

It is clearly apparent that she is good at what she does and has been in the industry a long time. I would recommend Jenkins to anyone due to Nikki’s competence and in my opinion she is a huge asset to Jenkins due to her wealth of knowledge of the lettings industry.

I look forward to carrying on being a happy tenant of Jenkins for years to come!

Efficient friendly and professional service

Do not use their lettings management team. Not if you want to be looked after professionally.
You’ll be billed for invoices that weren’t pre advice to you.
I’ve had Gas Certs booked and billed to me (way over the standard gas cert price)
I’ve had works billed to me with no pre advice.
I’ve had works advised to me of one price and then billed with a higher invoice amount. Reason was it was an emergency and we had to act straight away. Yet you’ll find they won’t tell you this, they’ll just send you the invoice with no explanation.
I’ve now been trying to resolve an issue with them for a month, it’s either staff on holiday, off sick etc etc
Their online portal isn’t up to date, you’ll see the wrong rental amounts quoted, wrong dates of last AST. No AST available to view online and when you ask for them, you’ll get sent out of date ones and still be waiting a month later for the correct AST’s you requested.
What’s even worse is they know of my personal circumstances, I’ve just lost a member of my family and yet they continue to place additional stress on me.

They use to be really good but unfortunately the lettings manager left and since they replaced the manager, the attitude of the staff has changed and the place is falling apart.

Barbara is absolutely amazing, made me feel so at ease as a first time buyer and even found me a mortgage advisor and has offered to find me a solicitor too when the time is right! Speaking to her has really made me realise that other places can’t be bothered… Best experience i have had and ever will have. Thank you!

A first class service and excellent staff, I would highly recommend them.

Jenkins are very good at selling property and the attention to detail on sales particulars and photos extremely good. Barbara Linnell is a lovely lady very friendly, pleasant and gave good advice when we were trying to find a suitable property to purchase.

The agent has been extremely helpful throughout, her knowledge and ability have ensured a quick sale achieving the full asking price.

I would readily recommend Jenkins as a first class estate agents and Barbara Linnell in particular.

I would not recommend this property management company to a renter or property owner seeking property management services.

My experience with this property management team was very disappointing. It appears that there is a lack of communication within the team, which has resulted in false promises being made to guests.

Moreover, if there appears to be any disagreement, the professionalism of the team seems to disappear. In any trusted agency, I would expect professionalism regardless of the circumstances, and sadly, this agency is inconsistent with its treatment of its "valued" guests.

I would be very wary of using this property management company.
