We have a contract with Johnsons to supply 3 sets of overalls for each of our 4 mechanics. We've been with Johnsons for many years and enjoyed good service for a long time.
Unfortunately since our service moved from Lancaster to Manchester we have seen a steady decline in the laundry service as well as the customer service which has now reached a point that we are having issues each week. Out of the 12 pairs of overalls we should have in circulation, Johnsons have lost 6 of them.
The customer service received has been diabolical.
From 'its' only a couple missing' to ' sign a new contract and we can get you some new overalls in October'. There isnt an ounce of recognition or apology of how this is affecting our business nor the safety of our staff. This week they haven't returned any clean overalls at all. My last two e-mails have gone ignored. We are in contract until next June as, be warned, they have a 180 days notice period and the contract auto renews at the end of the initial period.

We had multiple consistent instances of weeks of missed deliveries/collections and being credited for less than half of this. Tea towels would sometimes come ragged and smelling oily. I had been onto customer service multiple times, but the final straw was when they began charging us for the rental of kennedy cabinets without prior warning, without ever having charged for them before.

I called and spoke to customer service about cancellation. She gave me her email to put the termination in writing. I did so, and didn't hear back for three weeks. After chasing twice, three weeks later I was finally put informed that she had passed my information over to the terminations team. In fairness, the lady I spoke to was on annual leave for a couple of weeks, however wasn't when I sent the termination email nor when I chased the second time. Would it have taken much to inform me that she had passed my information on to the relevant team at the time?

I received a phone call from a gentleman in the terminations team who seemed to have no information on the situation, so I doubt my termination request was even passed on until I complained. He insinuated that the missed deliveries were because of difficult access to our back door. This isn't the case, and we also have an easily accessible front door with parking readily available. I told him I wished to terminate, and he offered me a 50% discount on all services. Out of principle, I refused and have chosen another supplier who beats them on price.

Termination requires 6 months notice prior to the contract end date, so I guess we're stuck with this terrible service until then!

Since 2017 I and our corporate relied on Johnson for quality and reliability but lately quality is declining. Specific the sizes of sweaters are changing every-time without any consistency. The medium today is same size as large from earlier and the current large even is larger than the pervious large. Most concerning the arm length of the medium is the same as the current large. I took my used sweaters to the store just compare it with the new items. I then decided to buy a medium because of quality of material but the took it to a seamstress for alterations. I am not sure if I will Johnson again although I was a staunch supporter of more for than a decade.

was fantastic for 3 years but then total disaster missed deliveries customer service was shocking not logging calls so no record of me calling then passed my outstanding balance to a debt recovery who aren't interested

Spent months with no overalls but still got charged , been charged now for overalls for an employee who doesn’t even get overalls , won’t be renewing when contract up worst company I’ve ever dealt with

The service provided by the admin staff is excellent always helpful and will investigate any delays or loss of items and resolve promptly. Very easy to communicate with and answer emails quickly, I deal with Jeni Mills the majority of the time and in her absence she always provides an alternative contact in Carol Baker who provides the same professional service that Jeni does.
Our driver that services our laundry round collection delivery is always on time and courteous and understands our working conditions and can wait if required for a short period until we can interact with him.
The laundry turnaround time is progressing and at times has met the contract expected times but I must admit this is very in frequent. The warehouse and servicing side of the whole process lets you down as a company. Sorry.

We had a few issues with garments getting lost before I took over. Natalie started around the same time and she has been amazing in helping me get garments organised my end and comes every week to site to help iron out any issues we may be having. Natalie takes any garments needing repair as we find if we put them in the wash, they come back without being fixed! Natalie is easy to talk to and she has really helped to keep everything running smoothly.

Rarely have any problems with Johnsons and if we do the Customer Service staff are excellent and quick to put things right.

Last company was letting us down, Johnsons have come in and fixed all the issues, made things easy.
Really nice people to deal with.
No problems since they took over.

Avoid at all costs! I have tried to cancel and was told I would have to pay almost £800 to terminate the contract. I am closing my business and no longer need their services and was told I am in a contract which I have no knowledge of. AVOID AVOID AVOID

The close customer service received, and regular updates made the install of the Johnsons workwear a smoother process than expected. Nicolle and the team ensure that we have the required stock and close out any actions in a timely manner to cause no disruption to our service.

Always had great service, any problems have always been well communicated and resolved in a timely manner to avoid any disruption.

Debbie has been super helpful when sorting out our new contract, quick communication/response times!

Charlotte Jackson is always available when needed, she responds quickly and have regular meetings monthly for current updates.
She has been fully supportive on site for the uniform change.
Its always a pleasure to work with her.

Worst company we have ever dealt with. Orders take forever to process and arrive. Read the terms & condition of your contract because it is shocking...you're locked in forever and the notice period small print is unbelievable....
My advice is to avoid like the plague.

Had been with them for 4 year's there cost just kept on rising was paying 3× as much what our original contract was which i had been paying
also had to pay 6 months termination notice along with REMAINING CONTRACT VALUE @ 25% OF THE WEEKLY INVOICE VALUE ON TERMINATION

Contact kept on getting renewed without notice
No new garments were given from the starting of the contract which was 4 years ago the jackets became worn down and thinned down they started charging me repair costs which were £11 a patch of stitching on which I must have spent over a £300 as most of the aprons had multiple repairs carried out on them

Do not see my self doing business with them in the future...
