I had a boat that I was not using often so I decided to donate it to a service that would help children. Karsforkids seems like a logical choice. Once I started the process, it went much smoother than I anticipated. The boat had to go through an auction, which only took a week, and it was done. In general, very painless.

Good customer service and good experience.

The speed in which Kars for Kids handles business is insane! When you call be prepared to have your car picked up immediately! They are the embodiment of professionalism.

From the registration online, to the people on the phone, to the wrecker driver that picked up the motorcycle...everyone was so kind and helpful.

Easy pickup,but some confusion about what more paperwork was required

Communication is good. Easy process. Great to help kids while getting rid of an old unused automobile.

I was the email point of contact for my 97 year old uncle who lost his license and elected to donate his vehicle and who does not have a smart phone or online presence.

I found the communication to be clear and timely however I would get multiple communications about the same thing from different parts of the organization which made it a bit confusing. e.g. the foundation vs the car tow-truck companies.

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. The tow company, 10 stars, for coming in and saving the day, but Kars 4 Kids...failed on every platform. It took 3 days to even get ahold of a live person to schedule a pick up. They gave one day and one time slot at a time, zero options. It kept showing someone would call me in 2 hours, but never got a call and there was no phone number to call (the number listed was missing a digit). I should have taken that as a sign. When I finally got ahold of someone to request an end of day pick up, she said they would not accommodate my request and I told her that I would reconsider my options and cancel the request if needed. Nothing was scheduled at that time, but after speaking with my husband, he decided to take a day off to handle the pick up because he needed to be home to allow access to the area. We scheduled online, got a confirmation call the day of from a live person and I passed along my husband's number for the driver to call (they said they would call when they were an hour away) and we thought all was on track until I got a text saying the pick up was cancelled. Turns out, Kars4Kids cancelled the pick up and when I called, they said that I had cancelled it based on my first call. I am sorry, why would I schedule online after the initial call if I didn't want a pick up? Thankfully, the tow company was able to add me onto the end of the day, but that doesn't help the fact that my husband took the day off to be there when he didn't end up needing to. Next time, I will just sell a car for scrap.

I had a terrible experience with Kars4Kids. I asked, but they refused to explain to me exactly what they would do with my car, but I donated anyway. That was my mistake

They sell the cars they received to fund their religious organization. Their parent company is called Oorah. I encourage you to research it on your own.

Their commercials are misleading. I am sorry I donated. Also, it's worth noting that the "vacation voucher" they promised me was a time share pitch.
