Absolutely bottom of the barrel offer. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! The price is about 20% under what their own kbb values show. Waste of time and effort.

Time for this company to get into 2026 you buying a vehicle making payments to a car dealership and someone totals your car you owe $12 thousand and the Blue book saying it's worth $7 thousand is B's we're not buying from the blue book and you don't find vehicles at the Blue books prices Does insurance companies have any thing to do with Kelly Blue book seems very scamish!!!

Don't waste your time. They just want your info so they can sell it and your email will get slammed. KBB used to be a honored name. Now it is not worth the time of day.

Not very good I’ve been trying to get an estimate on the price on my truck for over a week and they will not even send me a estimate on this value so I think Kelly BB sucks

This was by far the worst positive experience I have had in selling a car. Instant offer put me on a bad track to a low sale price.

Best of all you get bothered by tons of dealerships offering you 50% lower than the quoted sales price listed on KDB. 😃

I thoroughly enjoyed driving across the state to a one of these dealerships just so they could look at my car for 5 minutes and and offer me practically nothing for it. 😁

It was super relaxing getting 2-3 calls per day by said dealership saying they changed their mind and that they have a great deal for me afterall. 😊

The site is broken. When I try to visit the site or any of its pages, I get an "Access Denied" from errors.edgesuite.net.

I needed to sell my car, and I trusted Kelley Blue Book to recommend me to a trusted dealer. They recommended Infiniti of Englewood in New Jersey. I sold my car to them on Sept 26, 2025, and it is now Jan 8th, 2026, and they still haven't paid off the loan I still owe to the bank. Kelley Blue Book recommended me to a dealer who is not following the signed contract and paying off my loan. Never trusting KBB again. Now I have to deal with legal issues like hiring a lawyer, and my credit being ruined.

The KBB valuation sent to local dealers is pitiful. They valued my truck at $15,975, which obviously tainted the value in the eyes of the dealership that received it. I sold it to another dealer that received their information from Cargurus and got $20,200 for it. KBB is looking out for dealers, not you, so don't waist your time with them.

KBB should be ashamed of themselves and beware to anyone that uses them.
I inquired about selling truck and the dealership Midstate auto in Auburn ,ma contacted me worst dealership they have sold vehicles that have salvage titles without consumer knowledge

PREPARE FOR SPAM. Was looking to sell my car and had previously used KBB for the last one I traded in. I deeply regret using it this time around. First of all, you will be inundated with spam. I even marked that I DID NOT WANT TO BE CONTACTED yet THREE WEEKS LATER I am receiving calls, texts and emails DAILY. Also, EVERY TIME I select 'Unsubscribe' from their emails, I am told there is a technical error and my request can't be completed. Additionally, KBB's valuation of my car was significantly off. Carmax valued it much better (literally more than $3k better) and the dealership I worked with agreed with Carmax. So it's a total waste of your time and will just lead to a ton of unwanted calls and texts.

Terrible. They continue to email me asking about a vehicle I haven’t owned in 7 SEVEN years. Telling them to stop doesn’t work.

As soon as I put in my information to be able to get an offer I indicated I was not interested in selling. They immediately sent my info to car dealers. Literally started getting spam calls within minutes. DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL. Carvana gave me a better estimate and did not sell my info before the keyboard even cooled off.

When selling a car through Kelley Blue Book's Instant Cash Offer (ICO), I was told by the dealership and multiple KBB customer service representatives that the offer I received a week prior from the dealership, based on the KBB valuation and their own inspection, had actually expired the day before I brought the car in to sell. The dealership and the KBB representatives said that since the offer expired, the dealership had to do another inspection, resulting in a significantly lower offer.

When reaching out to customer support after selling the car to get clarity and attempt to recover the difference between the original offer and the accepted offer of the sale, KBB consistently denied that the offer expiration was the issue and emphasized that any offers are made at the dealership's discretion (and that re-evaluating the car is included in that). This denial contradicts the verbal confirmation I received from KBB customer support on the day of the sale that the reason for the dealership needing to re-evaluate the car was due to the offer expiring. Since then, their email responses have continued to be not only slow, but also to stick solely to their argument that any decisions are made by the dealership alone and they solely serve to connect sellers and dealerships.

If you’re selling your car through KBB’s ICO program, keep in mind the dealership will still probably lowball you, based on KBB’s valuation online, and getting any genuine help from KBB's customer support is nearly impossible.

It is a scam. Low ball my Ram 2500 truck. KBB works for the crooked ass dealerships. I will keep my truck and sell it on my own you scumbags.

This was a complete waste of time. We drove 2 hours round trip to the dealership and received an offer 2K below the KBB offer. The dealer indicated that there was no discrepancy between our description on KBB and their assessment. They offered an incomprehensible explanation. Go somewhere else so as not to be disappointed. A smarmy industry from one end to the other.
