Fantastic service from Ross at Keepmoat
Ross, the technician from Keepmoat, visited my home to fix a few issues that I had raised. He did a fantastic job. He was very professional and clearly experienced in his work. He patiently checked everything and made sure the issues were properly resolved.
What I appreciated most was his helpful attitude - he was friendly, respectful, and happy to explain things. It's great to see someone who takes real pride in their work.

He took the time to answer all of our questions, explain everything clearly, and made sure we felt comfortable and confident at every stage.

Disappointing Customer service experience
I have raised a concern about my lawn on the 24th of February, have been asked to provide more pictures, I have been told by Gaynor, two days later that looking at the pictures provided by me that it does appear to be a maintenance issue, no further action is required this time. I have explained that it was not the case, we took care of our lawn as best as we could, sites managers witness the work we did on the lawn, I have suggested that someone should come over and investigate the issue and look at the lawn. I have been told again by Gaynor that looking at the pictures it is a maintenance issue.
Have raised a complaint on the 26th of February, have received confirmation from Gaynor that they are in receipt of my email and that a senior customer care coordinator will respond within 10 working days, no one contacted me as per now. KM:0399000761

I had a very positive experience with Keepmoat at Preston Road. From the beginning, the sales process was smooth and well handled. Leigh, the sales agent, was wonderful very friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions. He made the whole process much easier and less stressful.
The after-sales service has also been excellent
Diane has been great to deal with; she responds quickly and attends to any complaints or issues promptly. It’s reassuring to know that support continues even after the purchase.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the service and would recommend Keepmoat for their helpful team and efficient customer care.

All smiles at first, then ...
The lady was all smiles during the buying process until after about four months when, near to completion, Keepmoat (Antler Park, Hartlepool) pulled out of the deal as it was taking too long. Weird because the useless solicitor they encouraged me to use (Cooklaw, Sunderland) had stopped replying to my emails and phone calls - imagine if your solicitor during the biggest purchase of your life simply stops replying for SEVEN WEEKS.
After reading the hundreds of dreadful reviews on here, I feel quite fortunate not to have bought a Keepmoat home.
Abysmal people, avoid like the plague, and if you still want to buy from them, don't agree to have Cooklaw as your solicitor - they're bone idle, devious and useless.
Update: the feedback received below from Keepmoat was clearly written by AI - e.g. like a human but with the humanity taken out. The apology was 100% meaningless.
The fact is that Keepmoat advised me to use Cooklaw - and Cooklaw stopped replying to emails / phone calls for seven weeks, which basically ruined my chance of a sale and purchase. My home is now on sale for £10k less than I agreed last year. Also, Keepmoat offered me a £9k incentive to move - in other words, Keepmoat and Cooklaw have cost me a year of my life and £19k. In addition, the sales woman at Antler Park promised to refund me the £250 - I received half of it. Avoid both like the plague if you value your money and your sanity.

Fairlands Gate Stevenage, overall experience
Myself and my spouse stumbled accidentally onto the Fairlands Gate development while out for a walk in Stevenage on 27/12/25.
Fast forward exactly two months and we became proud first time home owners.
Reviews as follows -
1. Keepmoat as a developer - 5/5
We did a lot of reading into the developer. No red flags whatsoever. Coming from someone that has been working all over different construction sites (both as a tradesman and a manager) in the last 15 years, I can say that their build quality & methods used are superior to what has been and is currently a standard in the Capital.
2. The sales team - 5/5
90% of our home buying experience has been guided by Susan Harford. Compliments not only on her professionalism but the personal and friendly manners!
The other 10% we had the assistance of Barbara Draper. Compliments to her assistance as well! Although we haven't met in person and had limited correspondence she was always up to speed and actioning all ongoing items.
The above description left with us the strong impression of a coordinated team that is indeed there to support and is fully up to date with the clients progression and needs.
Big thanks to all the other team members in the background!
3. Keepmoat recommended Mortgage broker & Conveyancer - 5/5
Mortgage Broker - Allegro Mortgages with Dean Jacobs. While we had our own mortgage advisor, the communication with Dean was so efficient, his response time so quick and his overall knowledge and attention to detail so strong that I recommended him to my brother who is also buying a property at the Fairlands Gate Stevenage development.
Conveyancer - 5/5
Key Conveyancing with Beth Artemiou as our Case Handler and Sindre Macyte as our Property Administrator. First time experience dealing with a Conveyancer but you only hear about delays and issues. No such thing here. The Key Conveyancing team were (and still are as we are in the process of registering our property with HM Land Registry) quick, efficient and always on the other side of the phone for us. Due to their efficiency with us, they are now used by my brother for his Fairlands Gate property purchase.
4. The site team - 5/5
This one being extremely important due to the fact that there are still 20odd plots under development near us.
The man at the helm being Owen Martin Assistant Site Manager - From the pre-moving week where a couple of snags had to be addressed to this day with answering my ongoing questions about the property we have felt his attention, support and professionalism! He executed the Demo tour for us in a very competent manner which speaks volumes in terms of his overall knowledge of the finished product. Albeit following the Completion of the purchase we are to be handled by the "Customer Care Team" Owen still finds time to pay us personal attention during his busy working day. Complements and praises!
Street used for site traffic is being regularly cleaned by a specialised vehicle few (maybe 5 or more) times a day.
The Traffic Marshal Anthony is extremely friendly and respectful to our privacy. No tradesman cars/vans allowed to park on our parking spots, deliveries to our doorstep are guided when needed and he even offers an assistance with disposal of extra rubbish generated from our moving in which is just so handy!
Overall the whole site team is respectful and very professional.
5. After completion "Customer Care Team" - 5/5
**29/04/26 Edit**
After two months of communicating with the KHS Customer Care team I have to say that whatever my expectations were, the team went above and beyond. As long as one, as a customer, is reasonable enough, writes a proper description of a targeted issue and is patient for a day or two for an answer (please remember that the KHS Customer Care team is dealing with thousands of us!) then the results will follow. Compliments for the attention, professionalism and swiftness of response to Mandy Kennedy, Senior Customer Care Coordinator, and also to Tod Young the Customer Care Technician whose attendance has always been a pleasure accompanied with results - issues resolved!
6. The House itself - 5/5
As mentioned build quality is immaculate in my opinion. Everything feels extremely premium especially coming from London. The kitchen fitting and functionality, the extract ventilation that nullifies all internal condensation, the solar panels, gas heating, 92 energy efficiency rating and the amazing sound insulation are all things one would expect when moving into a new built property.
Overall our experience seems too good to be true but it has indeed been one. As customers we reacted promptly to everything that was required of us and in return were met with the same efficient service!
