I phoned to book a survey and they were informative from the get go, I had John come out to survey who was great, really lovely guy who talked me through the survey, what he was doing etc and told me loads about knotweed. The survey came through loads earlier than expected, they actually got it to me the same day which was incredible. 10/10, brilliant experience with the company!

This is my first ever review and the reason for this is that I really think that this company needs to be recognised for its professional concern and honesty. It’s a very scary situation discovering your property has knotweed, then trying to find a company that can help. The moment I contacted and talked to the staff in the office, with their calming and understanding manner, it put my concerns at ease. The meeting with Clive at my property where he explained everything and reassured me he would take control of all the issues and make sure I do the correct and legal things even help and advise regarding potential buyers. Knowing that I have the back up of a professional company who are prepared to go that bit further gives me complete confidence.
Take note JKW is not a problem if you use a qualified and licensed company. I recommend this company 100%.

I cannot recommend Knotweed Services (UK) Ltd highly enough. We needed a Japanese Knotweed survey completed on a 4.4-acre property purchase after a mortgage valuer raised a query. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond.

Claire in the office was brilliant—clear, efficient, and booked our initial survey in record time. Dariusz arrived promptly for the thorough main site check, confirming no visible knotweed across the property.

When our lender requested further clarification on a specific area near an outbuilding, Managing Director Clive Brooker personally stepped in. He revisited the site free of charge, correctly identified the plant in question as a harmless Kiwi plant (correcting the mortgage valuer’s mistake!), and subsequently updated our full report with the necessary photos to satisfy the bank.

Knotweed services have a simple to use enquiry form.

I uploaded a couple of pictures and within 1 hour received a really confirming the weed was NOT Japanese knotweed.

I suspect some companies would have still quoted to remove the problem, even though it was not a major concern.

I’ve had exceptional service from Knotweed Services. I had to cancel my survey at first due to an issue with the property I was providing and they offered me a full refund without question. When the issue was resolved and I rebooked, they fitted me in quickly as to not delay the purchase. We approached this company as we were concerned about shoots appearing near our fence . Not only did they confirm it was NOT Japanese Knotwood but didn’t charge for this service either - a more unscrupulous company could have said otherwise and charged us a fortune .

Had an issue with Knotweed, contacted Clive who conducted an inspection to confirm. He was friendly, professional and honest with what was found and recommended the remediation required to remove it. He didn’t upsell, he was straight forward and provided us with a great quote for the excavation. A year later we had the excavation, undertaken by Marc and Darius who were excellent. They were friendly, and very knowledgeable in their fields which provided a lot of reassurance. They completed the job efficiently and were able to preserve a lot of the garden. Clive then had a follow up with me to ensure I was happy with the services. Huge thank you to all at Knotweed Services for all the help in removal, couldn’t recommend them more.

Selling my property and used Knotweed Services to confirm whether Knotweed was present. The photograph assessment came back really speedily with professional and polite correspondence to assure us and the buyer that we were in the clear.
