Language Oasis did a great job at translating me and my three sons birth certificates from English to Italian. They emailed me their first cut at the translations for me to review. There were a few corrections that were needed, and they quickly made the corrections and emailed me the final versions to make sure they made the necessary corrections. Once I gave the okay, they mailed out my certified and notarized translated birth certificates. Thanks for the good work at a reasonable price.

Asked for a quick turnaround on a document. Gave them word count (from Word) of 2074 words and that my document was 4 pages (since thats what it was) I paid the fee for four pages, since they price per page. At no point was it clear to me that a page constituted 250 words per page, therefore it was 8 pages instead of 4. I was told that in a somewhat sternly worded email (context needed, I am sure that it was not intended that way but that's how it read) and that I needed to pay the balance for the work.

Had it been clear that was the case, i.e. clarify what someone is paying for at the time of ordering so people know what Language Oasis classifies as a page.

Other than that, which is where I deduct one star, the actual translation and communication about expected delivery was excellent. I would use them again, and hopefully they will make their pricing policy more visible so people like me can get it quickly.
