I am just starting with this program but I can already see how much value it adds over traditional credit card processing.

Absolutely the worst company in the history of companies. If you are looking for a company that charges your card whenever they want, takes the side of the credit card payer, never answers questions and doesn’t understand what “cancel my services” means, then this piece of crap is perfect. Customer service rep was rude, spoke like he was god…dude you’re a service rep making crumbs…relax guy! I never leave bad reviews but this company deserves the worst review ever. Shameful company that’s out for the money no matter what. Doesn’t give a crap about their clients. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE AND FIND ANOTHER PROCESSING COMPANY.

Not only is LawPay simple to use and customizable for what your firm needs, but their customer service is second to none amazing. Every single time I've had a question or needed to modify something in our account, they have been quick to respond and made the changes immediately. They have always been knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was talking about and how to change it. I have never experienced such amazing customer service and I don't think there is another company out there that compares. Keep it up LawPay!

I just called in to do my annual PCI compliance review. I dialed a the customer service number. A person picked up. Very friendly lady named Janelle. She fixed my issue right away. I am good for another year! This level of customer service is too rare in our world, so I wanted to post this review as a thank you! If you have a law practice, this should be your payment processor!

Easy to use . Accessible and accurate

Easy to use, creates convenience for clients and our firm. No problems so far!

Fellow lawyers beware... I used lawpay successfully for years, it worked as you'd expect, no surprises. Then, one day, a nutty client made a chargeback months after the charge. Thankfully, it was a small charge, because I learned that lawpay does nothing for you in the event of a chargeback. The only way to undo it was to get my client to sign a release. Be warned - there's nothing special about lawpay in this regard - eventually, you'll get a chargeback that will shake your confidence in the security of accepting credit card payments.

The next remarkable unpleasant experience was when I foolishly attempted to change banks. I filled out the forms and provided voided checks for my operating and trust accounts, but they didn't process the request because they needed me to call their risk department to confirm the change. Okay, fine, I but every time I called, I get a voicemail, and then I get a call right back saying they need to talk to me. Usually, I would find this absurdity amusing, but while this is going on, a client decided to pay their old bill, and the chuckleheads at lawpay send the money to my old account!

Learn from my mistakes and experiences.

Problems: Monthly statements are printed in tiny type and come in the mail, too late to be of use in evaluating the previous month's client payments. There is no advance notice of the amount of the monthly LawPay charge to the lawyer's operating account. Occasionally mystery or phantom charges show up - very small charges to the operating account, connected with the trust account, when there has been no trust account activity.

Overall, the service is quite good and reliable. It affords peace of mind in making sure that trust account and operating account payments are kept separate. I have once or twice had a client make a payment into my trust account that should go into the operating account, so a warning to the client on the trust account charge page might be in order.

Law pay is apps so good ,I really very very good apps

The best thing about LawPay is getting an email from them. It means I just got some money!

I resisted taking credit cards in my solo law practice for decades. A few years ago, I signed up with LawPay and wish I had done it sooner. Payments from those who use cards come a lot faster than before LawPay.

We started out with Intuit merchant services, but couldn't solve the trust fee problem. We've been with LawPay since their first year, and haven't had a single problem.
