Family stranded in Germany due to warranty registration failure
We are currently stranded in Germany with our Mercedes C220d (6738MBF) because LG Barcelona failed to register our official warranty in the Mercedes system, despite our contract showing coverage until 2026.
The dealership (Noelia Galán) has admitted to a 'human error' in writing but has since stopped responding to our urgent calls for help. Because of their negligence, we were initially denied a replacement car and are facing a €1,058.96 repair bill for an AdBlue failure that should be covered.
We have an open case with Mercedes-Benz CAC (#20376602) and have filed a formal complaint with the Spanish Consumer Authority (OMIC Barcelona). It is unacceptable for a Mercedes-Benz dealer to leave a family helpless in a foreign country due to their own administrative incompetence.
Avoid this dealership if you value after-sales reliability and professional responsibility.
