Friendly and supportive experience since the start. Transparent and easy to follow processes. Clare has been amazing - took her time to get to know me, listened and understood. Very easy to talk to and always responsive.

Unprofessional and misleading.

I signed my son up for an expensive high tier membership.
The two candidates they proposed weee entirely inappropriate.
They lived hours away, were not of the same educational or intellectual level as my son. I found one candidate on her social
Media profile writing vulgar posts that were quite upsetting.
We asked first for partial
Money back and the membership team became extremely confrontational and aggressive.
They were not professional and misled us.

I gave up with online dating apps, tried matchmakers who do the searching for you. Kerry at matchmakers who helped set my profile up on a 1 to 1 basis was an absolute delight to work with, it was like she knew me my whole life. Her kind and soft approach made me so happy to know she was there to help. 10/10 from me. Thank you match makers

My experience with this personal matchmaking service was a good eye opener for me. I'm still enjoying my membership and highly recommend a lady called Zoe, she is very warm and friendly and she's made me feel so relaxed with the whole process. How she explains the steps are exactly what happens. She made it aware that this is not a quick fix but to be honest, that's not what I was looking for. I wanted genuine people who are looking for a serious relationship and so far, I've had some great interactions with some of the gentleman they have presented to me. Happy so far.

Online dating and apps were all if ever known prior to finding Matchmakers. And yes it’s a lot more money but I believe you get what you pay for and the investment has been really worthwhile. I have been delighted with my membership.

I have been a member at Matchmakers for almost a year now. It has been a first class service and one I am very satisfied with.

I'm very pleased to be a member of Matchmakers - this is the first time I've used a personal matchmaker and I am delighted with the experience so far.

My experience with this service has been disappointing, to say the least. I entered into this with an open mind, investing a significant amount of money upfront, hopeful that I would have the opportunity to connect with someone special. Unfortunately, my experience fell far below my expectations and of that promised in their marketing.

During my membership, I received nine recommendations, one for each month, as promised. However, for each match I agreed to connect with, I was met with polite declines from the potential matches. It was disheartening to see identical rejection emails from both of my assigned matchmakers, which only added to my frustration. I wonder whether these were genuine profiles I was sent or if I was simply unlucky with the matches I received.

Moreover, there were disconcerting lapses in the service's commitment to safeguarding member data. I received an email in which I was unintentionally blind-copied, inadvertently disclosing sensitive information about a new member. This breach raised serious doubts about the security measures in place to protect our personal details.

Another challenge I encountered revolved around getting my concerns addressed. Specifically, I had made a clear and explicit request for the one-month check-in to be carried out via a phone call, as stipulated by our agreement. Regrettably, this request was not respected, and I was informed that an email exchange would suffice. This departure from our contractual understanding not only created a contradiction but also left me with a sense of being overlooked and dismissed. Despite raising these issues and filing a formal complaint, the response I received was disappointingly generic and did little to instil confidence.

Overall, my experience with this service has been underwhelming. While I understand that matchmaking can be challenging, the consistent lack of genuine matches and the concerning data protection incident has left me questioning the value of my investment. I sincerely hope that the service takes steps to address these issues and deliver on the promises it makes to its members in the future.

I paid to upgrade, the site crashes all the time you can’t visit your likes. Keep your money and do not upgrade!!

Had an appalling experience with this company. Spoke with my 'personalised' matchmaker and went through my preferences, but the first few matches were well outside of these. Contacted verbally and in writing regularly when an inappropriate match was offered and was told each time that they could recommend outside of these preferences if they liked, if I then declined the person it was counted against me. This happened again and again (same mistakes over and over) and each time when I raised an issue with this I was referred to their handbook and was quoted the number of 'matches'...sorry, recommendations (not matches apparently) I received, regardless of suitability. They even continued to count someone who had been recommended even though she had ceased membership!!! At my inevitable complaint at the end of term I was refused any discount as they had covered themselves against inappropriate recommendations. I was aware of this wording in the handbook but was not aware it could be employed without discretion. 2 months since ending term and I am still trying to get a refund, but they have stopped communicating. Do not use this company, they do not offer a bespoke matchmaking service.
