OMG, I thought their trustpilot page might be bad, but it seems to reflect exactly my experience with their "support". My 1600€ Dolphin pool robot stopped working within the guarantee's time. I raised a case on Feb 22, now more than two months ago.
They kept asking me for receipts and other information, one by one with weeks in between their messages. I am sick of it now, and will hand this case to a lawyer to get my money back from them. Needless to say the device was NOT worth its money ... but the "cutomer service" is even much worse. They deserve negative stars.
Maytronics are sub superior products and scam warranties
After a ton of research I bought a Niya Sonar 50, which was outstanding, until before the warranty ran out it just would not charge any more. Maytronics solution was to send me a Tracker 55, they claimed Sonar's were not in stock and it was an upgrade. Not only was it not an upgrade but it took over 5 months to replace it, leaving me without a pool cleaner from June through October in Florida. That was longer than the time the Tracker took to fail. From day one the Tracker 55 was a POS. It didn't do stairs and it barely lasted in the a 13x26 pool. I was lucky if it lasted 40 minutes before dying. When I told them it failed within five months Maytronics claimed I am now out of my warranty period. Maytronics warranty is a scam! They do it purposely to run you out of warranty time before their sub superior products fail! I wish I never spent a dime on a Maytronics robot! BTW, they make Dolphins too. Stay clear of the scam warranty and their failing products.

I never review anything but in this case I feel people really need to know about this dishonest company (Maytronics) before considering making a purchase.
We purchased a Dolphin X6. It’s close to a $4000 robot. It lasted approximately 8 months before it just suddenly stopped working. Power pack turned on fine and communicated with my phone over wifi, yet the robot just wouldn’t move.
I took it back to have it repaired under warranty, only to be told the power pack is broken and it’s not covered under warranty. They have straight up laid the blame on me saying I must have “wet the power pack”. Its weird that the power pack is kept under cover in a dry area with a water proof furniture cover over the caddy setup and has no signs of issues, yet the robot itself had signs of water ingress inside the light. They ignored my queries about why there’s water inside the light on the robot and just said it’s the power pack and we don’t warrant that. This is after we provided photographic evidence of where the unit is kept, proving an impossibility for the power pack to get wet.
So after 5 weeks of not having a working robot, it’s now up to me to go and purchase a $500 power pack which may not even be the fix, if I ever want my $4000 robot to work again.
Just trying to get my robot back is also proving difficult. I have chased this company up every week seeking answers. No one ever gets back to you .Prospective buyers….please be VERY WARY about making an expensive purchase from this company. They will not warrant their sub standard products. This has been a truly horrible experience and a massive waste of our hard earned dollars!!!!

Maytronic Dolphin Plus is an inferior product sold by a company that has built their product to be useless a month after the warranty expires, or even before. Built in crappiness . Yep avoid this product.
Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware! I purchased a new Dolphin Active 20 back in June 2025 at Pinch a Penny. Top dollar…expensive! It’s been less than a year and I’ve had to take it back FIVE times!! The first time it stopped working it was within 30 days so they replaced it, but since then no more replacements. It’s absolutely horrible and a huge waste of money. I feel totally taken advantage of. What a poor product.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. You are better not buying this companies. product. It's a good product but their INDUSTRY LEADING WARRANTY is LEADING THE LIST AT THE BOTTOM. below lowest! Save yourself some sanity and do not buy this. 3 weeks after failure on day one and no communication and excuses. I am waiting for parts to repair a cleaner I had for 18 hours. Lowest Experience. They challenged my sanity and I have a dirty pool. They will not send a replacement. I am waiting for parts to repair the one they sent me!!?????
This started back in July
This started back in July, i purchased a brand new dolphin
pool cleaner ( my 2nd one) when it arrived the shell had a
large crack in it, i emailed support that day, after weeks with
no response i emailed them again, they finally responded, I
sent in all requested info, pictures etc, then another week
goes by and i email me them again, they said it appears to
be an internal part( which it is obviously not internal as it is
the shell of the unit, they requested i take it to a local repair
center, so i did that and took it gage pool ands spa that
services them. they also submitted a ticket in august,
neither gage pool or myself has heard anything in almost 6
months now. customer service is the worst i have ever seen.
this should be simple, all i wanted is for them to mail me a
new outer shell which i can install myself in 15 seconds. or mail it gage pools and i can have them do it. 6 months and
still no response on something very simple

I wrote a review on Trustpilot a few months ago that was true but I gave a low trust score to Maytronics. Now after several months of dealing with Maytronics (since 5/2024) I am happy to say my problem with their repair division was resolved with an unexpected pleasant result. Actually, PoolBots (Shannon) assisted me happily with my dilemma since I bought my Maytronics Dolphin Premier thru them online. They were able to contact the right person at Maytronics who went above and beyond what was required and expected after many months of wrong orders, confusion about my issue, etc and I finally received the correct part actually they sent me 2 of what I desperately needed at no cost to me. The issue was on their end but they more than made up for the error. This was a very pleasant result!! Thanks also to Shannon at PoolBots! Great company!
Terrible Service
I purchased a Dolphin M700 from one of their dealers in June 2025. It was nearly €2000. It would not connect to the internet and many functions would not work. I contacted the dealer immediately and all they would do is refer me to the manufacturer Maytronics who have been extremely unhelpful. I have been communicating with Maytronics now for months and been passed around from pillar to post. The service is terrible. My case got referred to a manager who was worse than the client service person. I wish I had purchased from a local store and not on-line as you cannot get any help
Maytronics does not provide support
I'v bought a Maytronics Dolphin Seamaster in Spain in June 2023. When the machine works it does a good job however in these two years it has broken down twice. The first time I brought it back to Leroy Merlin and it took aprox. 6 weeks before it was returned without any specific thing done to it.
Now it has broken for the second time in August. The company responsible for repairing the machine does NOT communicate at all. When I call them they are now waiting for spare parts (a motor and a cable for more then 8 weeks). Again not a word about it to me as a customer.
When I ask Maytronic for help they answering. Fairly quick I must say. However they REFUSE to help. I have contacted them several times and although I spend more than 1100 EUROs on the machine apparently that is not enough money for them to help a customer.
Therefore my advice... Although the machine does a good job a would go for a Zodiac or a Beatbot if you're still in a position to choose.
Robot good, service extremely poor by this company.
Maytronics MAXI-KART
Purtroppo non posso dare meno di una stella. Esperienza molto deludente. Ho acquistato un MAXI-KART con l'assicurazione del venditore (persona disponibilissima e squisita) che il pulitore avrebbe pulito la linea acqua, ovvero salire sulle pareti, avendo prima dell'acquisto più volte sottolineato che la mia piscina è rivestita in mosaico. Spendo circa 1.500€ per notare che il robot NON sale sulle pareti. Il venditore si è prodigato moltissimo, con sostituzione spazzole, test, etc, ma il risultato non è cambiato. Nota ancora più dolente è che mi reco in fiera, che si svolgeva in quel periodo, per incontrare i rappresentanti dell'azienda e trovare una civile soluzione, anche perchè il costo non era irrisorio, ma a malapena ascoltano la mia problematica, guardandosi nel frattempo intorno ed attendendo che io finissi di parlare, per poi sollevare le spalle senza dirmi nulla. Persone squallide!! in fondo avendo fatto ricerche sull'azienda, non potevo aspettarmi di meglio. Fa niente, comunque dopo due stagioni l'oggetto appare come se avesse 10 anni (ndr: il precedente, della concorrenza, è durato 12 anni), ho voluto dar fiducia a questa azienda che si spaccia leader del settore ed ho sbagliato. Quindi, quando acquistate da loro.... FATE BENE ATTENZIONE.
MAYTRONICS : SCONSIGLIATISSIMO, DA EVITARE ACCURATAMENTE!
Ho acquistato alla cifra di 1000 € un Dolphin Mini kart nel 2022 da un rivenditore ufficiale italiano Maytronics. Mi sono detto: "Lo acquisto di marca così è più affidabile". Morale: usato a malapena 2 stagioni e mezza. Ho fatto sempre tutte le manutenzioni del caso dopo ogni ciclo di pulizia. Premetto che ho oggi il motore parte , fa 1 metro e si ferma. Non pulisce più. Ho chiesto al rivenditore dove l'ho acquistato e mi ha invitato a fare delle operazioni in autonomia per capire se si resettasse, ma niente. Mi ha spiegato se volevo inviarlo per l'assistenza alla cifra di 50 euro solo per trasporto e capire il danno. A quanto pare è il motore . costo 400 euro più mano d'opera. Totale? Oltre 1500 euro. Fossero stato 150 euro ci poteva ancora stare, ma 400 euro non si può sentire. Così è farsi prendere in braccio.. Ho scritto a Maytronics e sto ancora aspettando risposta. SCONSIGLIATISSIMO L'ACQUISTO DI PRODOTTI MAYTRONICS. Per spendere 400€ di motore si possono acquistare alla stessa cifra pulitori nuovi. SCONTENTISSIMO ANCHE DEL SERVIZIO ASSISTENZA.

Poor customer service
I was having a problem with my Maytronics Dolphin Premier pool cleaner which was over $1000.00. I just had one question for customer service which would have taken less than three minutes to answer. I have filled in the on-line request form five times and each time it instructed me to call customer support as my on-line form was unable to be submitted. On the last submission it accepted the entry and was given a case number and was told that they would have a representative contact me. That never happened I called six times and after being on hold for 30 minutes at least three of the times left a call-back number also three times and never received a call-back. I have tried using the Chat application and all it tells me is that it does not understand my question. Another option that I could choose when I called was to press option 3 to leave a voice message, only to be told that was an invalid entry. Out of desperation I wrote a letter to the CEO of Maytronics and sent it by snail mail, this too went unanswered. I have been a Maytronics customer for many, many years and your customer service was always excellent, until now. I will NEVER purchase a Maytronics pool cleaner and suggest that you also pass on their products.

I wish I could give zero stars! Horrible customer service! Hold for almost 2 hours and no response to the chat. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased! Avoid at all cost!!!!
Worst customer service and product
We bought a vacuum just a couple of months ago and it already doesn't work. The customer service is useless and impossible to get a hold of. We spent hundreds of dollars and have a broken vacuum with no hope of ever getting it fixed. Crazy how this can happen and extremely unethical.
I bought my second Maytronics Dolphin…
I bought my second Maytronics Dolphin last July. I researched the best pool cleaners online for several weeks. ( Interesting to note my first Dolphin DX4 was purchased from a local dealer in 2015 and still works but needs new brushes). My second was the 2024 best pool robotic cleaner advertised: the Dolphin Premier with a 3 year warranty which comes with 2 sets of nano filters and 1 large leaf bag. This was important because my surrounding neighbors have huge trees and I fight the leaves year around. It did not work well from the beginning. Wouldn’t go all over the pool and went in circles most of the time. The season ended 2 months later so I stored it safely and figured I would deal with it the next season. Put it in the pool in May and it would not go but a few inches either way. I contacted Maytronics via email (be warned you willl never get anyone on the phone). I performed all the troubleshooting and nothing helped. So I shipped it according to their shipping requirements including required filters, power pac & Dolphin bubble wrapped at my cost via UPS to Duluth, GA. 2 days later they contacted me my Dolphin was repaired & shipped back. Great!! When it arrived none of the filters I sent as required were in my box!! So I contacted the company via live chat. Waited forever then got a girl that said she checked my repair order and I only sent the one bag which was not true. I packed all 3 in a small box and the bag was stuffed between the 2 nano plastic filters. We argued for over 1 hr about the filters. She said she could only replace the bag because that was what was logged in on my service call order. And she added they would never require but 1 filter even though the email said FILTERS. I have sent numerous emails to this company about this and they do not even respond! I can’t use my Dolphin until I have my filters. I want all 3 back. I chose this model for this reason. The motor was replaced along with the cable but I’ll never know if it works until I buy more filters. They are around $300 online. I’m disgusted with this company. I think the customer service must be run by robots. Will never buy another Maytronics pool cleaner!
Rebuilt Daulphin…
Purchased a ‘rebuilt’ Maytronics Dauphin from PoolBots. Replacing one that I used for 6 years. Upon receipt tested in pool (just a test as this was in February and pool was still in winter mode. The unit skipped areas, spent too much time running back and forth in same area. Contacted PoolBots (purchased from them). They quickly sent me to Maytronics. I spoke with 3 cust service people there over a 6 week period. One offered to replace it & pay return freight. Supposedly, notes were kept. Somehow, these disappeared and all I received was the standard list of items to check. Having had a similar unit, all of these items were already checked. After talking to two additional people, nothing was resolved and calls were not returned. I wouldn’t purchase another Maytronics product.
Poor Support for a Premium Product
I purchased a Dolphin M700 robot from Maytronics, about 10 months ago, expecting high-quality performance and support given the premium pricing and 4-year warranty claims. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
After submitting a service request via the app (Case #01625496), I waited for a response that never came. The case was eventually marked as "closed"—without any contact, resolution, or explanation. I later submitted a follow-up (Case #01658706) and still received no meaningful support.
Attempts to get help through the app and online support channels led nowhere, and the lack of communication has been unacceptable. I expected better responsiveness and accountability for a product marketed with “peace of mind” and long-term reliability.
At this point, I feel let down as a customer and am reconsidering my trust in the brand. If you're considering buying a Dolphin/Maytronics products, be aware that the support may not live up to the warranty promises.
