Millets - Uckfield Reviews 

If you’re kitting out a teenager for Duke of Edinburgh you really can’t beat Millets in Uckfield. Super knowledgeable staff - Ben was brilliant in giving us guidance on what was the best (and not necessarily the most expensive) for what we needed.

Andy was super helpful helping us find some walking boots for my daughter for her scout hike. He was chatty and friendly towards my daughter and immediately put her at ease as she finds making decisions overwhelming. Overall a very positive experience for us.

We went in Millets today for our daughters first DofE expedition equipment. The two members of staff who helped us, Andy & Isaac, could not have been more helpful. They were knowledgeable, kind, and patient. We could not have had better customer service.

Went to try on some trousers and they had my size.
Also asked for advice on cleaning gore text clothing. Sales assistant (Phoenix) was knowledgeable and advised me on what to do for cleaning and how to keep the longevity of the jackets.

Lovely polite Poppy helped me find just the right pair of walking boots today, just the ticket, brilliant service.

Great company with well knowledgeable staff, we where served by an employee named phoenix who gave extremely useful tips and was so lovely.

Popped over to millets uckfield as this was the closest store who could repair our sendero 4 tent pole. Simon and Ben were extremely helpful in fixing the pole so quickly and efficiently! Thanks again!

I was short on time and had forgotten my glasses! Pam was absolutely brilliant, I told her what I needed: walking boots, walking trousers, over trousers and pac-a-mac coat and she whisked me around the store like a person shopper. I tried things on and Pam kept handing me different items to try. I was all done and dusted in no time at all. I am very happy customer, ready for the Easter hiking weekend now. Thank you so much.

Another staff member to mention is Simon, who retied my boot laces to accommodate my arch support so that it wasn’t tight on top, a very knowledgeable chap. Delighted with the service in this store. I’ll definitely be back.

A very good service, very informative and very helpful in getting my Son kitted out with his camping gear for his Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Will certainly use again and recommend them to other people too.
